You is good people, that spot doubles as a 20 mites per kill as well, both Relic harvest and Exalted hive bounties done at the same time.

I was kind of the same way and pulled the trigger on this weeks helmet as well. Then I learned there's another exotic which gives you another golden gun shot, which would be awesome.

Then I pulled the exact same helmet with a exotic engram so I'm kind of anti-buying exotic armor for now and I think I'll just focus on weapons first for that part. I already have 2 pieces and it seems like a waste. The chest armor leveled up is bad ass though...

The fact Destiny even needs such a long (if not pedantic) explanation from a video game expert to be enjoyed in its current state says more about how elitist Bungie's game is and how they've failed at making a piece of popular entertainment.​

I have something like 30 odd hours played, level 23, and I have yet to see a legendary or an exotic drop from anything. I've been playing a mix of as many game modes as I can actually get through. Come on Destiny, throw me a goddamn bone!
 
Playing skirmish without two friends is asking to lose. Every time I play by myself I'm matched with people who just run off in opposite directions...
 
Looks like it was good decision holding off from playing the game before the end of this year. By then several patches ought to make the game better.

telling everyone to 'figure it out' is exactly that. they don't feel the need to explain a lot of the mechanics in the game and at the same time tell people that they need to play the game their way of all things
 
Anyone interested in doing VoG today? I'm a 28 defender Titan but have never done the raid yet. Looking for a group of gaffers interested in learning/teaching.

It doesn't need that post. All it needs is for people to realize the game is about building rep and gaining marks to buy shit. It's not about sweet drops from certain enemies or bosses

It's bungie a fault this is confusing. From 1-20 drops are a core source of loot. Even the stores give you free loot from progression. Hell can't even gain reps and marks till you are 18 or 20 so don't even think about them

You may know him as the demon Cryptarch but he has a much older name than that. The old ones called him Rahool, destroyer of dreams. He wormed his way into the tower promising legendary items to all but he in fact hordes the engrams you bring him so he can one day offer them in sacrifice to bring forth his master Diablo.

I am (I've not done the raid fully yet either), but with PSN having problems it's going to be difficult getting invites out and accepted unless Sony sort it out soon.

poorly communicating what players need to do isn't exactly elitist, unless bungie actually said for players to just "figure it out", which if they did i never saw it

Also trying to send one through to footos22...PSN is messed pretty good.

It might be hard to know when everyone is available, but if we can figure it out, then party chat or something might be a way to get the raid formed.
 
The void kills exotic bounty is what is going to finally break me on this game. I am literally so fucking angry right now. I am being 100% forced to play the game with weapons I don't want to use (aka I have never seen a primary with Void) in PvP in order to get a weapon for PvE. I am at 0 out of 500 after 3 matches, and I usually go pretty positive in Crucible, I think my lifetime K/D is like 1.3 or 1.4. Fuck this.

You mean some undetermined portion of the people who bought the game and post on online videogame message boards. Do you know how many copies this game sold? I'd be willing to bet that not even %1 of the people who bought this game have ever posted on a videogame forum.

But keep on believing the vocal minority of the vocal minority is an accurate representation of the public's perception.

pretty sure they went on about players not going to the internet and whatnot...

hell, bungie acting like they can't even implement a fucking mapvote of all things is a perfect example of them thinking they're too good and ahead of the game to allow common functions in their game. no communication, no matchmaking, no explanations for mechanics, feeding bullshit with a smile in update reports (the hive missions are too hard! let us help :3)

Only the best character in the game. No mater how much rep you have with the Vanguard, they'll never give you an Exotic anything, and Xur is just shifty, taking your money and heading off to the nudie bars for the rest of the week.
