suuuch a close one. he was right on the money with the Stranger's Rifle throughout, and ended the match by killing me and someone else within a second or two with it.

the two people that left did so with less than 3 minutes left. why? i guess they really really care about global k/d? they could have missed out on six exotics each

Well, today was definitely a mixed bag for me. I got two Legendaries in a row from Rare Engrams, but one was a Titan Helmet ( I'm Warlock ) and the other a meh-ish Rocket Launcher. Leveling up the Cryptarch twice got me nothing but crappy Rares. I got an Exotic Bounty and quickly finished it, but now it turns out the weapon I got from it ( Super Good Advice ) is nearly useless due to its massive recoil. I finished the Raid with some Gafers, but only got the fugly Legendary Ship and the Atheon's Epilogue Auto Rifle, a weapon that is pretty much all-round terrible with it dealing Void damage being the only redeeming factor. I didn't even get the Chatterwhite shader... ;-(

Can't wait for the loot patch, btw.
 
I think I got the cryptarch up to 18 and generally have hit shit from him.

Looking at my gear, I need to finish the story so I can farm mats. Everything is leveled up, but needs the mats to be official.

And add match making to the challenges.
 
Got 26 strange coins and I think I'll get the exotic helm. That perk might be good for PvP encounters. I can recoup the 13 back easily. Plus, Suros gonna eat dat nerf, and I prefer handcannons anyway. With gunslinger's trance x2-3, no Suros upgrade will save you.

Big Chief is so satisfying to use. Lord save anyone I play against if I ever get hawkmoon or last word.

I have a solar sniper rifle and rocket launcher, we could use a 3rd who has good solar weapons :)

After around a week of deliberation I decided to purchase Destiny for the Xbox One. Any tips/advice for a Destiny noob? I started as a Titan but kinda wish I would have went with a Warlock. My Titan is currently level 3.

It's actually extremly easy, much easier than the moon. I was able to solo it as Sunsinger Warlock in 25 mins or so.

Although I have good Sun damage Fusion rifle, but if you have at least 1 slot with fire damage, you should be fine. Self resurect is just a safety net. I didn't record the video, but here is another guy who did pretty much the same, but even faster, in only 18mins, I was extra careful and it took me maybe 25 or so, at light level 28.

Two methods I like if you have multiple people.

One is just staying up top, have a couple people focus on the minotaur when it spawns. Have one person always damaging the boss. Minotaur is annoying but if the two players killing it repeatedly are decent then it's not that much of an issue.

Other way is when you drop down, right behind you when you land there's a little crevice you can sneak in to with exits on either side. You can get shots on the boss but it takes a lot longer because your lines of sight aren't that clear and the boss in general is an annoying asshole. It's ridiculously easy to revive teammates there though unless they venture out too far.

Just had someone come trade in Destiny and go off about RNG being bullshit and never getting good gear. Wanted to ask if he ever praised RNGesus. Dropped the ball on that.
 
All my 10 Rare fusion rifles are taking up space in my vault. Hopefully I get the Pocket Infinity bounty soon so I can get them out of there!

K bro. Also I have a mic and it looks like it's working but I won't be talking a lot until its needed for strategy. My girlfriend is on the couch with me just studying for some upcoming interviews.
 
For you guys looking to get coins from the weekly, it's really easy to do solo.

Buy a few (5 maybe) stim packs for special and heavy. Equip a solar sniper, and solar rocket launcher. Use the sniper to get anything with a shield up to the boss, and take your time. Once you get to the boss, snipe what you can until the minotaur spawns behind you. Then drop straight down and immediately do a U-turn to the right. There is a little hole that you can get into and be protected. Just take your time peeking out and rocketing the boss. Don't worry about too much about minotaurs (take them down when you have the chance, but get in some damage on the boss too). You do need to get rid of any soldiers ASAP just using primary ammo (they do solar damage, so if they start to pile up they can hurt you bad).

Also, it helps to use a sub-class with solar grenades. Good luck Guardians!

Edit: Also, don't hit the wall with your solar rockets. The splash damage is wicked.

Right ok I've fucked up. Let me head back to the tower, I don't have a secondary with Solar damage but I think I have one in the vault.
 
Holy fuck is PvP a shitfest, never doing skirmish ever again unless I happen to be in a fireteam, but hot damn is the crucible a laggy shitfest today, PSN also thought I dodn't have PS+ as well, remind me not to go online on free weekends.

I actually really love having so many great VAs doing the NPC stuff. The quality of VA is amazing, the world building and atmosphere is incredible and this contributes a lot.

They have the actors involved, now they just need to write them some more/better dialogue and stories and utilise them a lot more.

The foundations this game has have so much potential... I really hope they're going to realise it.

Games were full of hidden secrets back in the day.

Also my game has crashed twice when I've looked at a weapon detail while waiting in crucible cue. A known bug?
