You can only get 9 total coins from the weeklies (3 per each effectively). He must have done the Lv 22 version before.

Invective bounty makes you buy 50 special weapon synthesis and then... give them right back to the gunsmith. You don't actually have to buy anything for the Pocket Infinity bounty, but rare fusion rifles were for sale so I finished up my last five that way.

Same here -- many, many times. The only way I've consistently taken down a Bladedancer with super activated is by burning my Titan smash when playing Striker.

I am loving this game so, so much. Mostly lurk here but I watch and it's been immensely entertaining and informative (Hawkian, all of your megaposts have made the whole inscrutable Lv 20+ experience incredibly accessible and even enjoyable-sounding, so hats off to you!). I'm a super-casual FPS player but this game has me hooked really, really bad; I understand all of Destiny's limitations and shortcomings, but the core gunplay just feels so right that I don't mind the repetitive nature. Hell, I'm addicted to Clash online, even though the last FPS I played semi-regularly online was CoD 4.

Anyway, posting to ask: are there any PS3-rockin' GAFfers who'd be interested in some Queen's Wrath missions sometime this week? I'm Lv 23 and currently building rep for my faction (rank 1.5 in New Monarchy), so I still have yet to actually get a legendary I can use, and the handful of times I tried the Wrath missions solo I got my ass handed to me. My psn ID is "lunkermesh" so please add or let me know; I have so few IRL friends with ps3s.

Edit: oh yeah, and the OP is totally right re: Hunters. I've tried the other classes on alts up to Lv 10 or so but nothing compares to the speed and majestic beauty of a galloping Hunter shanking you in the throat.

Basically you benefit from all 3 difficulties simultaneously if you jump straight into the hardest one.

This game is crack lol. Can't get enough of it. Really enjoying PvP and also just fun building up my character and gear. Managed to complete 8+ mainly 5k bounties in under an hour the day. Helped upgrade my Suros a lot. Feels good.

The special on it seems pretty useful (at least much more useful than the Apothesis Veil with the shorten rez time and extra energy balls dropped wtih super use). With this, and needing 2 more rare fusions for Pocket Inifnity, I think Im at a point in Destiny where I cant do much else without a some group or somesuch -- for Raids at least (and maybe Nightfall missions).

Last night I played a Crucible match on....Mercury.
Wtf, why would you include a multiplayer map on a planet that hasn't even been released or talked about yet?

Kind of reinforces the idea that a ton of the game is finished and out there right now, just packed neatly away behind DLC walls.

The first part's pretty simple: get some Queen's Wrath mission tokens. To do this, go to the bounty tracker and get a bounty (the third row). These are quite easy to complete. When you turn it in, you'll get a token in your inventory. These are an entrance ticket to a Queen's mission, and they can stack. Each token is a chance at one of the 4 possible Queen's Wrath rewards, a chest, helm, sniper rifle, or ship- all legendaries.

I just completed the Sepiks Prime mission on Earth but didn't get the Reef Bounty to unlock the Queesn mission. What am I doing wrong?

Does Bungie expect us to only get to Rank 2 with Queen's wrath? I don't think it's possible to get to rank 3 even if you do all the possible bounties.

They just keep putting out the ones you can't complete.

I wasn't too happy with Apothesis Veil at first, but combined with the resurrecting sunbro in the raid it was a god send cause you could revive in boss battles and even if enemies were near you, your life was regenerating.
