because once its upgraded, its auto fire and auto-refill on kill. so you can potentially never stop shooting (til you run out of ammo)
Man, I just did the We've Awoken The Hive!!1! mission to farm some glimmer so I could buy the Shingen-E but now that I arrived at the Gunsmith with a bag full of glimmer I don't know if I still want it 
I currently have a fully upgraded Lvl 20 Galahad-E and it's destroying enemies left and right. The Shingen is clearly superior to the Galahad in Stability, but worse in Impact, Range, Reload and even has a significant worse max attack (Galahad: 242, Shingen: 219).
So looks like I'm sticking with Galahad unless you guys can tell me why Shingen is better.

Nice. Hopefully, PSN works. Oh, probably should mention that I have no raid experience... I don't know if that matters.
I think at this point if you're level 20 it's best to wait for the next patch which is supposed to improve the loot situation.
Yeah it'll be a better gameplay experience I think

I can't comment in pve, but the shingen is my go to gun in pvp.

yea i read the skill tree but that just forces it to pump more bullets. the low dps is what's killing me. now if the extra damage after a kill stacks, that might change.\
for what it's worth i like it more than the monte carlo. that gun sounds like a giant stapler.

Protip: dont upgrade with focus fire. It slows down the ROF and makes it a dog in PvP.

I have 2 Shingen-E's. One fully upgraded and 1 stock. I feel like I win more gun fights with the stock.

Sweet hit Vanguard rank 3 and got a new Legendary auto named Shadow Price plus 2 coins and 2 ascendant energy.
I feel the past week and specially these past 2 days my rewards have started to improve alot.
Plus about 6 Legendary helmets from the Queen which I discarded for ascendant.

Have all of those. Got Suros and Shadow Price at around the same time, but started upgrading Shadow Price first because I want to run with an AR and Ice Breaker. Shadow Price fully upgraded with stability perk--man, it is awesome. Great RoF, 100% stable, decent mag (could be higher though), good reload speed, and one of the highest impact ratings for ARs I think. Even choosing the extended mag instead of 100% stability doesn't really affect too much if you are half decent at aiming. It's a beast, if perhaps a little unremarkable. It's like that reliable weapon that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but gets the job done time and time again.
I've only started to upgrade Suros, but so far I don't feel a compelling need to equip the Suros over the Shadow Price yet. May change once I get it upgraded, I don't know. Have the Shingen and Galahad Es and they are great weapons, but don't really feel a need to equip them over a fully upgraded Shadow Price.

Lol I'm upgrading my Suros now. Still haven't ran it in PvP. Love it in PvE, though!

Strike playlist and pvp will give you the gear you need to level past 20.
Then get a Gaf member to run you through Queen's Missions for the two legendary pieces.

Randomly got the Universal Remote yesterday. That thing any good? I haven't touched shotguns so I'm really sucking with it.
Also finished the exotic shotgun bounty, so now I have two exotic shotguns.

Yeah for sure. But the exiting to orbit is a bit of a hole
jesus, after achiving van-lvl 2 and cruc-level 3, bought the exotics of Xur (Helmet and AR)

I was just offered my third exotic bounty, this time for turning in a single Queen's Bounty bounty. It seems that exotic bounties, like everything else in the game, are offered randomly with a small chance of receiving one each time you hand in a bounty. That, or it may be after turning in a certain number of bounties. For certain though, it is not restricted just to Crucible bounties.
