Just a little question guys..
I know the patch is supposedly gonna fix the descriptions and whatnot, but they are going to demote any legendary we own to rare ones.
Does that apply to eventual rewards from leveling up the cryptarch?
I have a couple of blues on my inventory ready to have him decrypt them, and that is gonna bump him up to next level. I've been getting 2-3 "legendaries" for the past 3 levels, so I'm pretty sure he's gonna give me the same this time. Question is: are those gonna get nerfed too? They shouldn't since I haven't yet received the reward from postmaster , so they don't actually "exist" yet, but since it's close to tuesday I can just wait and do it then. All I'm missing is some legendary foot gear and I don't feel like buying it since I might get it as a reward soon. I'm using blessing of the gifted as an emblem and I feel it has been helping (might be placebo).
Also got my first exotic bounty ever, but it was kind of a poisoned apple..it's for the fucking Thorn and everyone says it's a pain in the ass. I already have The Last Word, so I would have 2 exotic handcannons which is kinda redundant.
Also, I've been reading people talking about buying the rare weapons the gunsmith sells now and then. Are those connected to the possibility of getting more exotic bounties? What's that talk about "i'm at 9/10; I'm at 5/10 currently"??
Since I can't get a legendary scout to drop, and I'm only working towards Vanguard Rep atm, which scout is better to buy? Proxima Centauri or the A.1F19X-RYL? I'm leaning towards the latter, but I don't wanna spend 150 marks on something shitty. So far I haven't found a scout which I couldn't use properly, even though I like some better than others.

Request for Xur to bring the Ice Breaker with him during his next visit. He's had a heavy and a primary so far... Time for a special. Also has brought arguably one of the best weapons of each category, so the same should be done here. Bring the Ice Breaker and I'll make your wildest dreams come true.

I got the Ice Breaker yesterday after completing the raid. It's incredible. Just thought you'd like to know.
It's for the Pocket Infinity exotic bounty. One of the steps is to dismantle 10 rare fusion rifles.

Damn, some of these requirements are boring as fuck. So many things in this game are depending on sheer luck, which kinda bums me out. Some say that the more bounties you do and deliver in a row, the better the chance you'll get another exotic bounty. Others say it's connected to the amount of bounties completed+lvl you are. I'm trying to understand what triggers that, since I've read in the last pages some people got the same special bounty yesterday, so it can't be a coincidence..

It's probably solely RNG like a heavy quantity of this game is already, those that do a lot of bounties just play the RNG more often, Those that turn in a bunch of bounties at a time also play the Exotic lotto a lot too.

Over 80 hours playing this game and not one exotic bounty yet. What do you want from me?!!
This. If you go 5 and 3 every game, You'll get it in 13 games, for instance. I got lucky and had a couple good runs and got it in 2 or 3.

It doesn't work like you guys think it does,
It counts the Greatest Spread between your K/D at any point within a single game.

the exotic bounties are not secret, it tells you what you need to do each step of the way
Wish I was high enough. Trying to get up to 28 or 29 before I try the Raid again. Did it with a bunch of dudes levels 24-27 and it was a rape party.
Edit: Lv 25 Sunsinger/Voidwalker Warlock here (I play either depending on who else is in the fireteam. Almost maxed my Voidwalker). Did you guys get more light from buying legendary gear from the Vanguard Quartermaster or Faction gear?

True, I guess I just assumed that since he Queen was a special event, it would go to her regardless. I haven't read a lot of complaints about it so I guess most folks assumed the same?
Thorn doesn't suck for PvP, and it's going to get buffed too.

so am I just bad at the game, or are fusion rifles kind of ridiculous in crucible? Seems to be the only thing anyone uses and people just run up to you while you are slowly taking their health down with an auto rifle or something while charging and then just kill you in one hit...
