I'll hit Vanguard rank 3 easy from the weekly heroic and nightfall. We're gonna try the raid on hard... And I'm also gonna buy the Shadow Price and a legendary shotgun once I gain a few more crucible marks.

What shotgun do you guys recommend from the vendors? or should I got with a legendary fusion rifle instead? Any good ones at the vendors?

27 is fine. It's what I've suggested be the minimum level to my own clanmates before attempting. 28 is optimal, of course, but not necessary to have a shot. Our first nights attempts we eventually cleared all the way to the final phase of the final boss with 4 level 27's and 2 level 28's.

We managed to beat the first boss with a level 29, three 27's, a 26 and a 25. Afterwards I heard you fight stronger enemies.

Make sure you rank up FIRST, because you'll get what I think is a guaranteed vanguard legendary.

IMO, a legendary fusion rifle is the better first choice. More versatile, better chance of being useful for Burn week modifiers, and obviously better range.

Did Vault of Glass last night. It was a lot of fun. The mechanics of the fights were very refreshing. Recieved the Hunter Cloak and a Legendary Roicket launcher.

Loved it. Can't wait for more!

I really want to get more legendaries, I've only gotten two from crucible rep. All my engrrams have been duds. Mind you I've only gotten two. I guess I play too much crucible, what's a faster way to get legendary drops? Level 25

It's all good today. Nothing on my strikes of quality yesterday. Just a few in today 2 legendary engrams and 1 hard strike.

Which do you think is better for an AR user PVE? Liking the Suros but this hard strike looks more my style with that fire rate.

Do chest runs, and kill enemies with their respective glimmer buffs active. I don't know how anybody cant have glimmer in this game I'm constantly at max.

Personally I just use the glimmer buffs when doing strikes, hell I let the silken banners stack at rahool until I need a top up.

27 is more than capable, just make sure you have a legendary or exotic primary. I kicked soo much vex ass with suros and my lvl 27 warlock. And I only died less than 5x. And imagine being lvl 28..woo

However, there is the checkpoint system for Raids so if you get 6 people together, you're not fucked if one of them can't continue the raid, as another person can replace them(I think)
Also you can resume the Raid from Tuesday to Tuesday(i.e. a weekly cycle) so progress is saved

If you enjoy Crucible, I'd suggest you just keep playing Crucible until you have the marks and Rep level to buy Legendaries.

if you're okay with being a little less efficient, you can farm glimmer anywhere in the game. pop a consumable and go to town, say a Black Wax Idol and head into the temple of crota. Precision kills even seem to award more glimmer.

IMO, a legendary fusion rifle is the better first choice. More versatile, better chance of being useful for Burn week modifiers, and obviously better range.

For PVE absolutely. My Fusion Rifle (Light/Beware) has an increased ranged damage perk from ADS. I also one shotted harpies and goblins from long range in the Vault. I have a Arc and Solar weapon and use them a lot in the harder PvE content.

I have Light/Beware and once you get the stability upgrade you can burn fools away in fire from the upper end of midrange. Charge time seems a little slow though.

Dunno if I should roll another Warlock for gear or roll a Titan/Hunter.

Both would provide opportunities to get more strange coins/glimmer/guns.

However, playing a Warlock again would allow me to get mission/raid loot that works for Warlocks. I'd be able to gain Warlock gear at double time.

You are not the only one. Game is going where Diablo 3 went after they increased the odds of finding legendary gear. Finding a legendary won't feel anything special soon.

I hit LVL 3 Vanguard today, got a legendary sniper... now I have 2 legendary snipers and one exotic sniper... Feels like I have enough of them.

As for people askig about sunslinger benefit, ressing in pvp is fantastic at catching groups unawares, as for pve, lost count on how many wipes I have saved.
