Anyone want to carry a level 25 sunlock through the nightfall? I need it for my exotic bounty. I'm online in PSN right now: TheLamonster

I would basically be your best friend forever.

God playing this game with friends is so fun. Went from a 6 to a 9 in my book. Popping supers and getting light for teammates is awesome. Love the co-op play in this game.

Successfully soloed Nightfall and I got Knucklehead Radar helm. That was intense. Only way I could do it is with an exploit as well. Think I'll team up for the next ones.

Same lol...

Wheres a good place to farm Public events guys? Just sit in one area and wait? Currently in the Steppes waiting for those defend events.

I feel a lot of people will move on this week.

Bungie are in a tight spot. My feeling is that the dlc is nowhere close to being released.

Now on one hand, people want their loot now. Keeping the carrot in front of stick will piss many off. On other hand, they get their loot now and do what with it?

I was planning on continuing to play to keep leveling up my weapons. But then I realized... what's the point for me? I'm not gonna play PvP because right now I have no incentive if it's going to be an AR/Fusion Rifle/Shotgun fest. In Halo 2 and 3 I genuinenly felt like I had a chance to win regardless of weapons unless the opposing player had rockets.

With this though I've reached a point I am looking forward to other games. Will I come back for expansions? Likely. Will I come back if my friends want to do the raid again and want my help? Likely. But I won't be doing dailies anymore. I've lost all interest now I burned out on redoing the same shit over and over again.

Yes that applies to many games with multiplayer. But in this game the content is really lacking. I'm usually a single player guy except for a few multiplayer shooters, specifically Halo series and Borderlands. Destiny 2 I'll probably get but won't pre-order unless they wow me with talks of actual content. I've lost so much respect for Bungie with this offering, and it's truly sad. If this ends up being the Assassin's Creed to Destiny 2's ACII, then shit that'll be amazing.

Until then though. I think I'm kind of done. And it's a sad feeling to know that I spent all this money on the game and I lost interest in it so relatively fast.

You joining up the Shadows of Mordor train as well or something else that the Bone has coming up (forza or SO later in the month)?

Just got the bounty to kill people with void damage but didn't have a void shotgun, decrypted a purple and got the comedian with void. DAT RNG.

I feel the same way. After I did the raid I just don't want to play anything else in the game.

The Divide -> Mothyard -> Forgotten Shore

Check destinypublicevents.com for exact timing. But the Divide one starts at xx:15 or xx:45, then 10 minutes later in Mothyard and 5 minutes after that in the Forgotten Shore. Then back to the Divide. Do patrol missions and search for spinmetal while waiting for the events.

It's becoming that way with me as well. I genuinely enjoy the game, but the lack of content is just making me not want to come back for more. I've done everything. Story, strikes, weekly strikes, nightfall, raid, etc. There's just not enough content in this game to keep me coming back for more and by the time the expansion pack comes out I'll be putting most of time into TMCC.

Same here. From now on I'll just do weekly heroic, nightfall and raid with my main character. Thinking of levelling up an alt, but maybe a break from Destiny is not a bad idea.

Will be playing:
Shadow of Mordor
Super Smash 3DS
Alien Isolation
Fantasy Life
Sunset Overdrive
Assasin's Creed Unity
Dragon Age Inquisition
Halo Master Chief Collection

and Maybe Far Cry 4.

I have enough games this fall to last me well into 2015 so I have no worries about that haha. Halo MCC will be especially useful to spend times with friends if they get it as well. Will probably add Gaffers to Xbone friends list as I barely play with mine and haven't added people.

Very eloquently put and I absolutely agree with you.

Regarding your point about spending the money: i have known forever and a day that i regret every collector edition yet i fall for bait and regret it here too

I don't mind getting them for the metal boxes. That's good enough for me, if it's an amazing game/series I love. Needless to say I need to be wowed before I even consider Destiny 2 collector's, if the game at all.

I feel the same way. After I did the raid I just don't want to play anything else in the game.

If more of the game was content similar to the raid I can tell you right now that the game would have like mid 80s to 90s in reviews. The Raid is that good in terms of fun and teamwork where it genuinely felt you needed each and every person to succeed.

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat as Admiral as far as my feelings on Destiny right now. The only thing I need to do is complete the Vault of Glass (haven't started it yet) then I'll take a break from it as well and look ahead to other games on the horizon.

4/5 strikes done for the Invective bounty. I got a legendary engram which turned out to be The Comedian shotgun. is the Invective much better?

I'm in the same boat as some of you it seems. Turned the game on earlier to try and grind out some bounties but no, just no. Outside of Raiding, I've done all I care to do with the current content.

It's not helping that Driveclub is just over a week away and looking amazing.

I haven't played the game since I hit level 20, which was like two weeks ago. I really like the game, but since I don't have a lot free time, I can't keep up with the best place to grind, exploits, new events, new updates, new modes, etc. It's not the type of game you can casually play once a week. I kinda wish it had a higher level cap instead of leveling up by (random) loots. I will probably sell the game soon.

I am happy with the amount of game I've had from Destiny. I'm probably close to 90 hours now and I've still not finished the raid. Once I've done that I'll probably switch back to Diablo 3 as my main game until the DLC. I've no complaints, really. I also think I'll keep coming back for a quick Crucible game here and there.

This autumn is pretty dry for me so the DLC is really the main event.

Those of you that feel done with it, do you feel like you've not had enough value from the game or just that you OD'ed?

So recap of today's activities:

* Reached lvl28
* Beat last boss on Raid (1st time)
* Beat Nightfall strike (1st time)
* Made Vanguard Rank 3
* Got Exotic Sniper 'Patience And Time', a Legendary Scout Rifle and a Legendary Rocket Launcher
* Also got a Legendary ship from the raid
* Been absolutely slaying in PvP, around 2.0-3.0 K/D compared to around 1.5 usually

Good day.

Well I mean they did just kinda say they are merging the auto rifle and shotgun... So maybe at least wait for that?

I need to kill 500 players (or be near their deaths) for my exotic bounty. And i am using a Fusion Rifle because its the one weapon with void damage that i have

Holy shit is it insane, you get one shot, if that even, to get your kill, otherwise you are toast. Only bad players give you another shot. Though in 90% of the cases its insta kill.

One change they need to make is getting rid of that "press button to respawn" in PvP. What is the point of it? Just respawn after X seconds. Its really annoying having to press square, i am not seeing the point of it.

Good day.

Days like that in this game are always awesome, especially if you feel like you've been kind of stuck in your leveling process for a few days, and then a great day like that happens where everything seems to go your way, always makes you feel accomplished. Congrats!

It totally is. I think i'll put some info out on this when I have the chance!

Yeah, I'm just about done with Destiny as well. Done everything, including the raid and I'm level 29. The only thing left is to upgrade my weapons. There's no way I'm grinding for Raid gear. That just means more grinding for Ass Shards. I'm done with that.

Plus, Shadow of Mordor comes out in a few days. Goodbye Destiny for a while.

You dont need to kill 500 players. You need to get 500 ponits. You get 5 for killing someone but lose 2 when you die

I just feel there's nowhere near enough content to keep me and others coming back for more. Destiny was touted as this massive world with this massive amount of content that's similar to other MMOs and then we get a game that's nothing like it at all. It's quite disappointing as I do genuinely like the game, but the amount of repetitive missions, extreme lack of content, and the extremely lackadaisical story makes it hard for me to continue playing.

Lvl 28 hunter and after finishing nightfall (3 friends is enough to get together , 6 is too much).....Think I need to move on.

The multiplayer is good but not great due to

1. 30 FPS and poor net code - too much lag and players skipping around with shotguns.

2. Piss poor balance on many guns. There is nothing worse in multiplayer than bad balance.

3. The moon / vehicle maps are terrible - players just sit in caves with snipers.

Its a shame, but roll on Next COD

To expect as much content as something you have to pay monthly for seems kind of insane to me.
