Just got all the way to Sekrion solo on Nightfall, but man. Even using the cave, you need another person for revives. Really wanted to solo it.

To be fair, this would have probably worked fine if said engrams were actually random drops alongside the current color-coded ones that would work like they will after patch. Like a "Corrupted Data Engram" with a separate drop asset that had more random results when decrypted.

The way it was actually done though was a surprisingly ignorant mistake for the time and resources involved with the project.

Didn't get the Suros? No. My reasoning behind it was "well, since they're nerfing auto-rifles next week..." and wanting to wait to see what Xur would have next week as well (since I know I wouldn't be able to get enough strange coins again in time), so I passed on it.

That's the thing, they're not like those. they're now shoehorning them into acting like them, because a precedent of frustration has been set and you can't change how you're communicating the system after the fact, you have to actually change the system. everyone knows what they WANT a legendary engram to do, and now they will. but it will essentially just feel better, not be better. lol

will this also mean the drop rate of Legendaries will be waaaay lower?

I doubt it but that's probably something I'd look into to adjust for "drop rates".

Lots of legendary ars can clean up in the crucible. it wasn't a bad call. not that it's not a totally wonderful gun, i'm just saying. there are lots of ways to use your exotic slot.

I don't think they've said so yet. They can still be currency/materials so the odds of getting a legendary item won't be 100% after the change.

I think between Thursday and now I managed to get 5 exotics through various means, none of which include Xur.

Two were from legendary engrams, two were from bounties, and one was from the raid.

Where was this luck during my ~400 hours of Diablo 3?

No, they haven't announced a date for the PvP rebalancing yet. I think the only change we know about for next week is the engram revamping.
