Does Burning Shrine not have a spot in Control rotation?

Only seen it once in my two weeks of playing, and that was during a Skirmish session.

Looked like a really good map too.

The exception being striker Titans can run in and use their super and obilaterate the shield and everyone in it.

I know it works because I've done it, multiple times. It's incredibly satisfying.

Yep... seeing three people sitting in the bubble thinking they're safe is so so awesome.

Can somebody clarify?

Vanguard Rank 2 is required to buy the Vanguard legendary armor.
Vanguard Rank 3 is required to buy the Vanguard legendary weapons and Sparrow vehicles.

The pre-order Vanguard items require LEVEL 5/10. Not Vanguard Rank but player level. There are no items for sale that require higher than Vanguard Rank 3.

I'm rather clueless about the Suppression Grenade for the Titan class. There seems to be no real discussion about it, which leads me to believe that it's either underestimated or it's crap and no one wants to use it.

Does anyone know how long the effect is and what it actually suppresses? I heard it makes Hive Wizards stop shooting their annoying magic balls, for example.

And what about PvP?

Ooooh that makes sense. I thought he meant rank.

The randomness of exotic bounties seems a bit strange, am now on my 6th.

Beginning to think that aside from doing PVP, there's very little left for me in the game now.

I'm just shy of 29 (waiting on Shards), took a gander at the raid and the logistics and requirement not have people who charge at Gorgons reminded me why I stopped raiding in WoW. I'm bored of the same dozen missions with modifiers and any change to the level cap would garner too much bad blood around rendering gear obsolete so all I can foresee is an increase to the amount of equip-able exotics in the future. Failing to really see anything to keep me involved in the PVE side of things.

The game is very much a jack of all trades, master of none, kind of set up. While I've enjoyed it, and will continue to enjoy it, it certainly seems to have a shortish shelf life.

This 200 kills with a fusion rifle in Nightfall is almost worse than the 500 void damage in PvP. Fuck this bounty, but it'll be so worth it.
An easier way is, after you spawn in, turn around and run through the building till you get to the library-esqe part where Vex and Fallen fight. That part is instanced so they enemies are lvl 28 and do count. You can kill 15 or so each time you clear it out, though they take a bit to respawn now.

That's how I did it.

It suppresses your super and probably grenade as well, but I can't remember. I've had it used against me a few times. The effect lasts no longer than 10 seconds I think. No idea about PvE though.

Thanks but I literally just finished it. :)

Screw it, I'll go with the Invective bounty. Have my eyes set on buying the Legendary assault rifle once I hit Dead Orbit Rank 3 and the Invective does look supremely good to use, even if shotguns might be getting nerfed in the future.

Challenges also seem pretty quick and simple for it to do. Saving 12,500 glimmer could take a while but not as long as completing 25 strikes and the getting 25-1 kill spread sounds a lot easier than I thought!

Thanks for the help GAF. :)

So do I have this right?

Queen's bounties

I get Queens wrath from bounties, then i play the Queen's wrath mission and get items?

I did it last night and now I have 2x wrath tokens but the mission is shaded with orange which I guess is suggesting that it has been played. So can I run the mission again or it's useless if I do?

The queens missions are shaded the opposite of normal, they're only orange when you have a wrath token to do them, as opposed to shaded if you have done them.

Just received my first Exotic bounty and I'm not sure what to go with.

My options are either Thorn, Bad Juju or Invective. Most would go with Invective but I'm still running with a rare AR at Level 26, so a primary weapon is what I'd prefer.

I like Pulse Rifles more than Handcannons and the tasks involved for the Bad Juju bounty seem the easiest, even if 25 strikes could take a while. Is Bad Juju as bad a weapon as what I hear it is?

Bad Juju and Thorn suck right now, but Bungie said they will be buffed.

Anyone need the daily on XB1? I'm at the final wave waiting so if anyone wants in let me know. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

so apparently not upgrading the suros for pvp would be your best bet since that slower rate of fire while zoomed damage addition perk makes the gun worst.

No. I murder people with Suros. The upgrade is a positive to me and almost always ADS. I went from be happy to get over 1.0 k/d to hitting as high as 3.8. My skills haven't improved much...just my gun.

So you're telling me it suppresses abilities like Arc Blade and Golden Gun? Oh my, why haven't I been using this before?

OK DestinyGAF, I have a very important problem.

It is VERY IMPORTANT!

This time tomorrow I will have met all criteria to finally buy my first VANGUARD legendary primary (woo-hoo)

Sooooo.... which one should I get?

PvP is not a factor since I only play PvE.

I really like the Impulse Rifle you get for completing the game and I like the Galahad-E.

Advice?

This is very important!

Sorry, but that's the worst advice ever.

The upgrade turns the Suros into a primary Machine Gun that can headshot forever.

I'm still unsure about some of it. I thought it might neutralise shields on enemies, I think it definitely stops Fallen from teleporting/going invisible for example.

In PVP it suppresses everything I think, including your jump ability. Players affected get that same red blur over their heads that people get from flashbangs or getting marked by oracles.

I've yet to try it on people with a super like Golden Gun active, I wonder if they can't use it. Someone like Datto should do a video on it.

Not for me. I've actually have done better since I upgraded it. Just aim for the head and you'll take out opponents very quickly.

So my roomate and I played the raid with four others for six hours and gave up to the final boss. How do you beat that? This is bat shit crazy and makes me want to stop playing the game altogether.

Just finished the raid for the first time today, then again a few hours later. My group didn't see the results screen after beating the final boss. Is this normal? We had to have our fireteam leader take us back to orbit manually. Did we get screwed out of our rewards?

To clarify, we did get our chatterwhite shaders and some purples after the boss died. It's just that the reward/result screen didn't show up afterwards.

It's normal. Glitches out for some reason, you get the last drop the Instant the boss drops.

Oh alright. thanks

Instead of being bested by suddenly dealing with difficulty, you should instead strife to overcome it.
