damn, i just caught the post about the original destiny story on reddit.

the game was delayed several times and it's clear when playing it that parts of it were rewritten or completely scrapped. is a shame because the original one, despite being somewhat unoriginal, is still very interesting, and it looks like it has a decent cast and scope to it.

i mean, anything is better than what we ended up with. a cliche or average story is better than none at all.

Wow. So there is not matchmaking for daily heroics. I just fired up the game on a whim and was immediately reminded of how awful it is in so many respects.

You can do daily heroic missions solo. It is hard of course. But I have done most myself.

It's such a shame.

I love Destiny, the world building is amazing especially if you utilise the Grimore.

Shouldn't have to use an app to fill in the blanks though, if the story and campaign had been good this game could have been something special.

I have it half upgraded and I think it's a beast. The real kick is that it uses primary ammo and you can carry two shotguns.

Indeed, I played with some guys that didn't realise it was an ability, i literally wait until it's a wipe with the counter and then res and revive. They were shocked and didn't know what was going on.

So what you are saying is that the social features in the game are inadequate and you are complaining about them but you don't actually care to socially engage with anyone, you just want random people that might as well be bots fill your party for a mission in a video game.

I think I'm going to stick with FRs for a while after that bounty too. They're absolutely incredible.

Super viable ESPECIALLY in control.

Defend a point with 7+ grenades or by self ressing.

Unlocked Unbreakable last night for my Titan Defender. Not had time to look at it yet – the Force Barrier effect normally lasts for around 10-15 seconds or so, so does it just last indefinitely until you die if you’re using Unbreakable?

It has its moments at control points but I find it mostly useless as a super. Just unlocked the activate from grave skill so that might be nice. Gonna see how I fare with the other grenades (been using solar due to Sunbreakers).

Gunslinger is a billion times better.

The Traveler put the last of it's power into the Ghosts. The Ghosts are what give the Guardian their power (which is why it's the Ghost that resurrects you when you die in-game). This is explained when you first talk to the speaker and reinforced in the first moon mission where The Hive killed the Guardian you find and then grabbed the Ghost before it could run or revive him.

I don't think so. There's no level requirement for it, just the basic strike. Would be glad for the help.

Edit: oh, it's a new epic version of the strike. Level 26. I reckon you should be fine if you have decent weapons.

No. Normally force barrier depletes as you take damage. What that ability does is regenerate your force barrier to full for the short time the barrier lasts, meaning you can absorb and dole out more melee damage. Your force barrier, which would otherwise stay at half strength if damaged, will regenerate back to full allowing you to reabsorb that extra bit of damage for a short duration.
