So does the Cryptarch level matter at all? im asking because i got around 15 blue engrams im planing to open tomorrow hopig to get some purple ones when he gains a level. I dont want to open them on my main because my alt could use some of that blue grear but the problem is my alt cryparch is lvl 1 and my main is lvl 8.

All right, this Warlock is pretty fun. I'll switch back to my Titan tomorrow to get some more Vanguard marks and hopefully net me a good Legendary helmet to use, and when I finally max my Defender skills (only like two more to go) I'm gonna level up my Sunsinger some more. Should be fun.
You get a package every time he levels, other than that I don't think levelling matters at all
I had an exotic bounty to complete the weekly mission (even though I had already done it!) so me and a friend where doing it, struggled to the end and literally as the boss was dying I disconnect.
Luckily I was able to connect in again and just saw a black screen and the bounty completed itself, I was so relived!

The glimmer boosters seem pointless now, all the enemies drop now is like +1 or +3 with the rare occasion of +25 depending on the enemy.
It's taken a long long time for me to get 2,000.
Managed to buy a few with the glimmer I had.

Mine is 27 and still gives blues, so no, just use them now. Tomorrow the patch will make it so all new engrams will be equal or better than their rarity.

tthe raid gives you a lot of glimmer, especially if you're on the portal team. i usually leave with 15k+
It might be because I've got a ton of grimoires which helps drop rate, but whenever you defeat a major, ultra or a boss always look out for little triangle shaped drops each one gets you 200 glimmer when you trade them into the cryptarch.
I'm having the oppoaite problem you do, I hit the glimmer cap so fast I have to spend on useless crap.
They really should give you your mats back if you dismantle a weapon, the glimmer fine, but the mats we should get back.

Should be able to get my hunter to 28 today. Then I need to get my Titan from 24 up to at least 27 as quickly as possible.

well you did just completely shit over everyone in that match and it's not like they got amazing items that would make you jealous.

How much grimoire you got? I'm at the Shrine of Oryx. I wonder if changing classes from Striker to Defender makes a difference.
Edit: Yea they aren't dropping the triangle items or black wax idol anymore. This blows.

Grinding my way up to lv 27 I stopped mid mission as said to myself "wtf am I doing!?"
Gonna find some gaffers for the glass vault tomorrow and then that's that

It is totally worth the hassle. Full auto fusion rifle that immediately returns shots that miss to the mag. Beast in PvE and PvP. I don't have mine fully upgraded yet, but I have been on the receiving end of it. Best close quarters weapon.

You will have a very nice collection of primary exotics once Thorn is buffed.

Yeah. My group and I are trying to finish Atheon in the Vault of Glass now. We're going to try and complete it before the weekly refresh. It's one of the most insanely difficult things I've ever experienced in a video game, and not in a good way. There's also the fact that we had people constantly getting dropped from the session, and the game itself was running us through a myriad of glitches.
If we beat it, I'll be taking a long break from Destiny for a while. If we don't beat it, I'll be taking a long break from Destiny for a while.

We did the Vault last night, took us about an hour and a half with a 10 minute break (last week we got to the end boss but gave up after an hour or so). No wipes until the end but last boss in 4-5 wipes. It was ALOT of fun. Got our clan trophy to : D. That place was so cool.

It is a bit of a piss take when you come out on top and you don't get anything. However, like someone said you aren't missing anything there. It does need fixing though.
I feel you should get rewarded for be successful and getting rewards for most captures, best k/d ratio, most kills and least deaths. And then dish out rewards randomly to everyone else.

So you have one game where you get no rewards and you're suddenly surprised people are still into the game? Come on man. It's RNG. There will be games where you get nothing.
Yesterday night I solo'ed the Weekly @ Level 22 and then again at Level 26 as I was leveling up my alternate Hunter character, but because this week's Weekly strike is so "easy" and cheesable I may try and solo the Level 28 version as well, then maybe even the Nightfall using the Weekly as an indication with how well I can deal damage being 2 levels below.
That is unless I can find a few others tonight around 7 PM Eastern to join

I got Found Verdict, a shotgun from the raid with a similar damage bonus against oracles.
Which to me seems a trifle odd; a shotgun is really on the lower end of my list of go-to weapons for oracle kills. Well, you can get much closer to them when the yellow ones appear during the sub boss but any shotgun would be effective in that situation.
I use it anyway because it fires automatic and has a 6 round capacity.

You cant be serious right? You telling this has only happened to you once? This and super random loot even from higher differently strikes + shitty engrams + insane grind and farming require just to buy one legendary weapon upgrades.
This game is not rewarding at ALL. At least for now its all luck based and discouraging to keep playing. Progression system is a joke, sometimes even I wonder how are people still playing. I am taking two week stop. Hopefully its fixed by then.
