Thanks for the invite, had a great time in VoG.
Pretty well stomped it, I came away with:
- Found Verdict, an arc shotgun w/ full auto, increased stability and bonus oracle damage
- Kabr's Brazen Grips, the Titan raid gloves w/ Disc/Str and bonus to reloading all specials
- Light of the Great Prism, the Titan mark
- Chatterwhite
... and a handful of each ascendant material. Good times, though I wish I had gotten just about any other weapon than the shotgun; I can't figure how I'm supposed to really handle Oracles with a shotgun, haha.

70+ hours in and I've completed most bounties every day and I've not had a single exotic bounty yet.

Helmet, chest armor, legendary sniper and legendary ship up for grabs. Although I've found you'll get the helmet 70% of the time.

Yeah, I know it's first world problems but it is super annoying. In the last week I have almost constantly had 2 bounty spaces taken up by them, it's super fucking annoying, especially since I want nothing to do with 2 of the 3 options it keeps giving me. I dropped one of them, already have a second Invective. Gonna wrap up the Thorn (never doing the Void challenge again, at least not on my Hunter) and get the 2nd Bad Juju then just start always declining them.

No since one weekend the game literally threw everything at me.
Legendaries started to drop and become legendaries,
I've got massive strange coins and motes without even farming them,
exotic bounties popped up. Rahool was in love with my hunter.
But since last week, he never calls me back

What's easiest way to survive Nightfall? Getting our arses kicked! It was easier solo, guess the health is massively boosted for 3 players.

Lately this has been happening more frequently and it's super annoying. Basically, I load up destiny and all the PS+ required areas are locked out, even though I have PS+ (Well technically, my boyfriend's account on the same system has, but that shouldn't be an issue right?)
One time strikes were locked out while Crucible wasn't (though also being a PS+ area) so I played one match, returned to the star map and everything was magically unlocked again.
Now the past few days I have been having similar issues but this time Crucible is also locked, and after playing something else nothing unlocks anymore.
I had someone in my twitter reporting the same thing but don't remember seeing similar reports here. Googling the problem doesn't help either, it only returns boards with questions whether PS+ is required or not to play online, nothing related to this problem.

Would it be so hard to give everyone some sort of loot but give the best loot to the best players less loot to those underneath and greens to the bottom feeders?
Everyone rolls something but you get higher drops best on performance.
That just makes sense.

They specifically called the Thorn out as getting a buff as well as other exotic weapons in the recent dev notes. I am doing the exotic bounty now with hopes the buff makes it a good weapon. If all Thorns are not retroactively buffed, there will be riots!
While I agree that the winner should always at least get one loot item, I don't think it makes any sense at all to weight all rewards to performance. It would immediately fuck up pvp. Low to moderate players would have zero incentive to play, and you would have tons of groups gaming the system to take turns finishing first. This way everyone has a chance to improve their gear.
Isn't this supposed to be the new big thing? I'm guessing 4+ DLCS followed by a sequel or maybe expansion. I wouldn't be surprised to see Activision try to milk this as much as possible.

I do. I expect a 3rd expansion with a level cap increase along with it sometime late 2015. Then they'll move on to the sequel.
Considering this game follows many MMO endgame conventions, I don't think the standard norm of DLCs will suffice for Destiny.
Four DLCs each with 1 raid each for example over the course of 2 years will result in a total of 5 raids. That's not enough.

I got the MIDA Multi-Tool, an exotic Sout Rifle from a purple engram recently; the Cryptarch and me are tight I think, m8's r8s I think.
That said, I'm not sure how best to put the Scout Rifle to use... the gun's upgrades aren't particularly exciting. I can see radar while scoped with it. The gun's named upgrade let's me move faster and let's me fire the gun on a hair trigger; not really sure what this actually means since I've not unlocked it or used a weapon with the "hair trigger" bonus before.
I guess I'll keep hold of it for when I need something with more range than my Monte Carlo

They're completely random I think. I've run into quite a few to the point where I outright reject some if I know I don't want the weapon or deal with getting it. Invective was easy to do, and now I'm finally working on Bad Juju.
