Anyone else having connection problems with this game? For the last few days I've been playing story missions and getting booted from the game world with random error messages like kingfisher and baboon. It's really irritating to have to sit through the story synopsis time after time without being able to skip it.
Tomorrow. Always Tuesday.
I'm in a pretty comfy position now. One way or the other, I'll be able to do the heroic raid in the coming days.
The Destiny weekly reset happens Tuesday at 5am EST (2am PST, 4am CST)

I have finally maxed both Hunter Subclasses! I just finished up my exotic bounty for the Bad Juju yesterday as well. Here is my current gunslinger build. My bladedancer build is closer to 28 and has 1220 defense I believe. I swap out the Knucklehead Radar for a Lucky Rasberry chestpiece which buffs the bladedancer's arcbolt grenade. Loving this game so much!
I also got "An Insurmountable Skullfort" from an exotic engram so I already know what I am building next.

Yeah I just had a quick number crunch.
I'm on 89 light, with four more available upgrades without using ass. shards (apart from the Exotic), and I apparently need 98 light for level 28.
I do have 45 ass. shards; am I being overly cautious?

We came up with the idea that he's the Trix rabbit. He managed to steal the children's cereal and hid in his rabbit hole for eons which would eventually become the Vault itself. This would explain why you are constantly falling and getting deeper into Venus.
The crystal formations in the final room are the trix cereal. They've crystallized.

On another note only being able to equip one exotic weapon / armor piece at a time is killing me, hate to start leveling an item and then have it sit around unfinished unless I force myself to equip something I don't want to at the moment. Could really use more vault space at this point too, up to 11 exotics and a ton of extra legendaries so all my space is spoken for unless I make mule characters.

45? Just spend those on the Raid Gear you'll eventually get doing the Raids. That way you get to 30.

So I was looking over the engram changes for tomorrow. Since blue engrams currently still have a chance for greens, would it be prudent to save blue engrams for tomorrow then where they will be guaranteed blue or legendary drops? I'm already saving all my cryptark packages for tomorrow in the hope fore guaranteed legendaries
Yes, save them for tomorrow so you have a better shot at getting legendaries from them, they will also upgrade your cryptarch and you'll get a rewards package that might have a legendary engram(s) in it.
I'm following Namikaze's idea and saving all my blue engrams. After the patch drops, I'm going to give them to the Cryptarch, level him up, and open the prize packages. I'm hoping this works to get me legendaries.

Out of a crucible reward purple engram I rolled some exotic titan arms. I'm a hunter.

I have yet to even try the Raid!
I just don't want to plough them into gear that will be eventually redundant, particularly when plenty of people bemoan the fact that they are hard to come by.

I don't think the hunter's abilities are that overpowered at all. As a hunter, I find myself getting titan smashed far more than anything ekse.
I think exotics give 3 shards, and regular legendaries give 2.
They don't. I DE'd an exotic headpiece and received no shards at all. It wasn't upgraded, but still I think that's bullshit.

Also another random question, I just got the exotic bounty for thorn (was a choice between bad juju or thron because I just finished the invective) and was reading the quest line for it. When it says you need to get 500 void kills in pvp, is that only with void weapons or would my grenades and novabomb on voidwalker count as well?

You get in with "tickets". If you look at the back of the Crucible playlist cards, you'll see one of the rewards for leveling them up is an increased chance for "Tournament Tickets" to drop. The tournament is the Trails of Osiris.
I've definitely gotten 3 from dismantling an exotic helm before, but I'm not sure if this is a 100% chance.

Any source of void damage that kills will count, so any void melee / grenade / super will work.
I haven't had Trix in a while, hmmm...
Yes, the Titans and Warlocks have a press to kill button. With Hunters, precision is required. Also, Bladedancer is a rather weak special. All it takes is two people shooting them. Looks cool yes, but it's not as effective as all make it out to be.

Any void damage counts. I did 7 matches last night as a defender titan with a void sniper and void LMG which got me 250ish of 500.
It isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Just camp like crazy to preserve K/D.

Yep, it counts. So does the melee afaik.

For people who don't have any immediate plan to do the Raid on Hard mode yet are Level 28, there is no reason to fully upgrade weapons to 300 Attack, correct?
Me at 28 versus an enemy at 28, I will deal the same damage to him if my weapon is at 300 Attack compared to 267 Attack, correct?
Only the higher Attack matters if I am going up against Level 29 enemies and above.
