We were doing well once we hit our stride with my playing battlefield medic when I go invisible and his last-ditch revive when things went poorly.

How's that multi-tool you picked up from the Nightfall last week? Looks like you full upgraded it. Has it become your go-to?

Yeah, there's actually a new spot to cheese that nexus boss (you can jump down), I helped a few people finish it after and it's so much easier that staying up top.

I like the multi-tool a lot, I use it for strikes and farming but I still use the AR for PvP.

Protip: the bonus bullets don't do double damage. It's 50% more damage at best.

I hope the upcoming balance update makes handcannons viable in pvp, because they are fun to use.

I don't know how to tell exactly, but I believe you. I have no problem describing it as "a lot more damage" Does the bonus damage apply equally to headshots?

Hand cannons are viable in pvp.

If I hear the sound, I take a position far enough away from any entrance to have a good chance at killing them, or at least lowering their health enough for someone else to. For some reason most blade dancers just mash the attack and I can get the kill. If they have the ranged attack it is harder.

Good tip I need to start listening for the sound effect

Weird. Every time i've come across someone in bladedancer after i've just resurrected it's an easy double melee or melee and quick few rounds to take them out. Is this not normal? I didn't think someone in bladedancer had that much armor. Seemed like they're very easy to take out at range or up close with shields on.

Honestly, if you bring them down easily with a few rounds or double melee, they probably built their Bladedancer incorrectly.

For comparison, I caught a Hunter from behind with a Titan Shoulder Block a split second after he activated. I then punched him.

He did not die.

Titan shoulder block is almost always a one hit kill....given how much it sucks, it'd better be haha..

To those saving their engrams for Tuesday- didn't the Bungie post specify that the changes only affect engrams that drop post-patch?

They even made a cute joke about "go ahead and decrypt them now, we know they were blues anyway"

The people talking about hoarding, FOR THE MOST PART, are doing it due to Cryptarch rep awards, not because of the specific engrams they're hoarding.

We honestly don't know. I'd argue it depends on whether what's inside them is rolled pre-opening or post-opening.

We're not sure if any Cryptarch envelopes you get when you level him pre patch will give post or pre patch engrams once the patch hits.

Might as well wait to level him until tomorrow just to be safe, assuming you haven't done so. Personally, I'm done with that bastard Rahool until he gets his head straightened out.

There really aren't many anyway and very few look good on the hunter either. Polar oak can look ok, chatterwhite isn't bad and one of the blue/orange is alright, I think it's called Gilgamesh. I find practically every shader looks better on my warlock though.

Also they let us see the shops on our phone. Do you guys think they'll ever let us use the Tower vendors on our phones and on bungie.net? It would be nice to encrypt some engrams or turn in a quest and accept a new one without having to load up the tower.

Can anyone explain a rational reason why Bungie doesn't provide an IN GAME list of people online for your game system with the same clan tag as you?

Forming a fire team with clan members is so ridiculous...sharing gamertags and such. I really dislike friending people on Xbox I dont know in the real world...but I guess I'm going to have to for some of these achievements.

All new monarchy gear except for helmet. So many wires and canisters and shit. And although I love the light level and perks, Third Man Helmet is damn ugly and yellow.

I officially deem my Lucky Raspberry my best piece of gear. I was disappointed when it dropped, and I've mentioned before how it kind of redeemed itself but it has now cemented itself in my armoury.

No kidding, I remember you saying you weren't really thriled with it. I feel the exact same way about knucklehead actually, I bought it as a starter kit exotic and now I feel ashamed for not having seen its potential until using it in practice.

Hawkmoon's an all-around great weapon and the magazine is just pure luxury. But I didn't understand the synergy it had with Knucklehead Radar until using it in the Crucible. (Knucklehead's upgrade lets you keep your radar using ADS with primary weapons).

Not getting jumped while at engagement range is absolutely priceless and I feel more able to pursue my prey and take risky finishing shots without losing my situational awareness. It's amazing. Hawkmoon + Knucklehead Bladedancer is my absolute favorite build- and this ultimately is how we will build- in PvP and and ditto for Gunslinger for solo PvE. Pocket Infinity on the other hand... well, I just unlocked its title upgrade and the magazine upgrade. 8 full-auto fusion blasts is... well it's silly. It's amazing. It can indeed trivialize some PvE encounters, but I don't mind this at all. Destiny, IMO encourages you to "break" scenarios with specific exotics by limiting you to one at a time. I haven't brought it into the Crucible yet (Hawkmoon so hard to let go of) but I imagine there will be many tears.

So, Destiny has these things called load screens. They're around a minute long each and I could read multiple Grimoire cards during them.

Female Titans are the best looking models in the game imo. So sleek.

I wish more games would allow us to build slimmer/sleeker male tank style classes.
