Well, I got 4 motes of light and 2 coins, plus a rare fusion rifle out of all the stuff I brought back. I'm actually ok with that. :)
 
Jesus Relic Iron nodes are fucking hilarious to see
I get the meme running for it, but HOLY SHIT I passed by the node 3 fucking times, it was me back hovering to dodge an attack, where the icon popped to collect it, I was like WTF, it's right there, how the fuck did I miss it

They really need to change the coloring of Relic Iron or give that Spinmetal sheen
I can spot all the other 3 materials from a mile away, yet Relic Iron, even if I know the spots, blends too fucking well

So I rolled a hunter and got to the array mission on earth. On my way there I saw two dudes camping at the old loot cave spot and then a warsat fell. So I got an easy public event right after rolling a new character.

Bungie can't take away our loot cave, it still keeps on giving. Never forget.

pls elaborate. i have a ton in storage because i didn't read the fine print. since the patch changes won't apply i'm going to go crazy and trade them all in at once once i get home.
 
Whats the point of the cryptarch selling anything or even the gun shop guy? They never sell anything anyone would be interested in past level 10.

Also what does everyone do to make glimmer? People are talking about hitting the level cap but I can't ever seem to get more than 3-4 thousand before I spend it on upgrades or other things.

I buy the cryptarch shit when I'm close to leveling him up, but I'm out of engrams.
 
still need someone 29+ for a heroic raid starting in about 15 minutes. everyone in group is 29 and has 3+ normal mode clears. psn name same as gaf.

Same. It's just weird it doesn't have the same luster and shine as the other materials you're accustomed to seeing it with.
 
Attempting to play the VOG with only one person with a mic was a waste of time. Sheesh. It annoys me that I can't play several hours worth of content I paid for because it's designed to be played with mics and with people with mics.

There's plenty of people with mics here on GAF. It's still a pain in the ass to coordinate schedules, but it's possible!

Any tips for the Crucible? I’ll have to go all-in with Voidwalker and my legendary proximity-detonating void rocket launcher on that quest… just need some sort of void damage fusion rifle and I will be more cheesy than an extra large stuffed crust Pizza Hut pizza.

I have tried this before giving 7-9 blues to the cryptarch at once around 2 or 3 times. I noticed that if you give them all together the rating drops from blue to green around the 4th or 5th engram you encode. I am not sure if this is going to be adressed in the next patch.

The reason I hoarded engrams was because I just used them to increase my cryptarch ranking hoping that I would get a purple engram in the mail.

If you plan on mass encoding be careful. This could also be RNGesus bending me over and fucking me, but I'd be safe and encode one at a time if you are actually planning on using the gear from engrams instead of scrapping it like I usually do.

i'm pretty sure this is just RNG. The blues can turn out to be green, blue, or purple. I've done multiple decodes in one go and gotten a legendary out of it.
