Ha, I've only just hit 22 so 24 isn't quite feasible for me yet. Playing on xbone with no friends on destiny means I'm relegated to faction/crucible grinding for decent weapons and armour I think.

wish they had a way in game that when you change your Fireteam to allow public it would let you write a little message or something that people could see...that way people could see what people were waiting for...

Yup, It's actually easy to win if people all stayed together and watched each other. Anytime I'm in a team where one guy runs off alone, we lose.
Damn, actually, a group with one of each Titan would be crazy ideal for this strike. I can't imagine how much damage Thunderlord would do to the boss with Weapons of Light buffing it...
Huge if with randoms but we know randoms gotta Rambo. Even if they start out playing team smart they will go Rambo at some point during the match lol.

I believe in the Beta, all you needed was Glimmer and Iron Banner rank to buy stuff from the vendor. That could definitely change though.

Might be an obvious answer but - do different grenade types do obvious elemental damage? I mean, I would assume the titan's flash grenade does arc but no idea. is this displayed anywhere in the UI?
Which is probably the case after you grind their faction. I'm just assuming they will have their own faction because every fucking thing else does. Lol

So I had already completed the Vault of Glass last week before volunteering to help out some folks last night with the last fight (Atheon). The results were poor, but we did finish it. I didn't know the guy leading the raid, was a friend of a friend on XBL. Guy running the raid spent more time chewing me out when I died than trying to figure out what happened, I guess expecting me to be perfect since I was the only person who had completed it before.
Here are the b.net results.
If anyone needs a good Supplicant killer hit me up, I can almost kill them by myself, yet that wasn't good enough for the little group I was in last night. We actually completed it once the guy leading the group left, and we substituted him with someone I knew that could control the relic better.
So glad Bungie didn't allow for people to randomly queue up for the raid(s).

Yes, I play Skirmish with randoms for the bounties and it's truly a toss up. At the end of the day, it would be nice to have a playlist designed for people playing without a group.
Yep the different grenades do different kinds of damage. I think the description on the skill screen mentions the kind of damage but I am not so sure right now.
Yes, I am assuming that each chest, gauntlets and boots will cost 65 marks each, and if we can at max have 200 marks in the bank then at most I can buy 2 pieces or the helm -- if they follow the same cost as all the other armor that is purchasable.
Good point, both would be quite effective! Fully buffer Weapons of Light does 35% additional damage iirc, that's a substantial boost.

I always figured your abilities and grenade damage type were dependent on the color of your subclass icon.
Titan Smash = Blue = Arc
Defender = Purple = Void
..etc..etc..

OK, I have good solar weapons. I'll rely on teammates for the arc power (outside of my ark grenade).

This game is not rewarding at all. There's so much frustration both with the loot system/PVE and PVP.
The amount of grinding, and bullshit you have to deal with for the little reward in return is insane. This is a game truly built for the masochist gamer.
I'm done with it.

For some reason I take crucible losses really hard in this game. I don't know why, but if I'm losing or doing terribly I feel like utter crap.
...I don't think I'll survive the Iron Banner.
