that's a good, and hilarious, point about the subclasses. I feel like I see Voidwalkers all the time still, but you're completely right, Sunsinger and Bladedancer lack hard (guaranteed) counters to Ward of Dawn. ha.

I have heard that Defenders can Yo Dawg their own Ward on top of an existing one and get all their buffs and knock out one camping there, if you've got the element of surprise. I've never seen this happen so take with a grain of salt

I can confirm that a Titan with Ward of Dawn+The defensive upgrade can take 3 hits from an arc blader before they go down. The arc blader can only take one shotgun to the face+fist, or 2 fists. If you want some fisting action, go for it. I prefer the shotgun and fisting.

They never confirmed it was today, but we all assumed. That said, it is logical to release a patch that coincides with the weekly reset.

I asked before but this thread moves so fast I'm not sure I got a response:

Is the High Caliber Rounds upgrade for the Strange Suspect Pulse Rifle worth it in Crucible? Don't want to ruin the best primary weapon I have.

question, if I do the 22 weekly heroic strike how do I get the remaining 6 coins? By doing the 26 one or the 28 one?

I'm asking because yesterday I did the 26 and got 6 coins, after that the only one that was going to give me the remaining 3 coins was the 28 one.

There's 9 coins total.

3 @ 22
6 @ 26
9 @ 28

If you do the lower level ones their total is removed from the higher levels.

Not a big fan of the Monte Carlo but...man it is a sexy gun, there's no denying that :)

The room you are, I'm 99% sure it will be the elevator to the giant structure for the extension house of wolves in the leaked description you have to find them on the top of the stronghold on venus.

This? I just got it last night. It's awesome.

Fuck colors, I want good and useful.

Damn you and all your exotic weapons! :p

So I'm a couple of thousand glimmer short of a couple more fusion rifles for this exotic bounty.

Any quick glimmer tips?

When you see a Hunter with Bladedancer active, do you try to charge in?
When you see a Hunter with his Golden Gun active, do you try to charge in?
When you see a Warlock with Radiance Active, do you try to charge in?

Why would this situation be any different?

lol, afraid I'm guilty of trying to take it down on several occasions. Easily my least encountered super so I wasn't even aware it was one until recently. As for the others, I try to avoid blade dancer at all costs. That thing is brutal. Golden gun I avoid s well, though it's not always a forgone conclusion if I can get my positioning right. Radiance isn't too bad. I take them down if there's enough distance. I'm a warlock and hardly run with that in PvP. Seems the weakest of them all.

whenever I come up against another guardian wielding an exotic handcannon, the match to me just becomes about staging as many duels against him or her as possible. all the other players are just noise to occasionally stifle. If we don't wind up killing each other with crossfire headshots at least once it's a disappointment.
.

I really want an Exotic Handcannon :( I dont count the Thorn lol hate it.

this was my experience, yes. it appeared as though I could just run right in and get an easy kill and be on my way. I landed 3 slices. he meleed me. I went for a fourth slice. he meleed me again. I died and he got an overshield. then he danced.

super wasted, lesson learned

It's getting buffed tho!

The fact that the bosses in the raids loot tables include Shards and Energies will bother me to no end, why don't they remove the shards and energies, and make them only weapons / armor and make the chests / checkpoints have the complete tables.

Doing the raid and leaving with nothing but energies and shards is complete bullshit

I wonder if that's all she gives out to my class. Are you a Hunter?

Warlock. But my experience hasn't been any different with my Hunter. Chest and Helm for both of em :(

I just Want NEED that Sniper Rifle. Trying to run Heroic/Nightfall strikes with Rare's suck.

Honestly the best strategy for an arc blader vs. a defender titan is to go in when one or two of your allies go in as well. It happens.

That sounds awesome. It's a pretty cool area, somehow I never knew it was there until today and I've put in 60 hours in this game haha.

I really like the Doctor Nope for PvE. Sooo many bullets. Vanquisher blows for PvE by comparison, clip size / overall bullets too low.

Vanquisher / Shadow Price are good to great, though, for PvP.

Can't link to his post so I'll reply here

I got the nope for free and I saw you could buy it. Plus I don't use auto rifles. So I scrapped it and got 4 energies which I used to upgrade my scout rifle. That worked well for me.

If filthy rich is 10/10 then I am 6/10 imo.

where are you getting all the energies and shards?

Got my first exotic yesterday in a PvP match, it was a rocket launcher called "The Truth" looks kinda cool, does void damage so could be pretty useful.

Don't underestimate Sunsingers. Huge skill ceiling to play well but hot damn.

Bad ones are free kills, good ones are unstoppable. My second-most feared class. Voidwalkers are just an annoying cheap kill every once in a while, Sunsingers can run the table if played well.

True enough. Just like a bladedancer can be taken down in a 2v1 scenario...
...a bubbled Defender can as well. However, attempting the 1v1 is folly.

Unrelated note... I will say, there is nothing like coming across another hunter in Arc Blade. The resulting battles (especially if you're both using Blink) are so tense, frantic and fun, I'd play an entire game mode of it. It's only happened to me 3 times ever, but it's a blast.

Bungie, when are you going to add Safari support for Bungie.net? I can't see my character :(

What really bugs me is that it used to work just fine for IE and Safari, and then apparently they either a) broke it and didn't want to fix it or b) added a browser checker because... reasons.

My point is unless you know you have something that can take these on at that exact moment, you usually retreat. As in, your own super, or a heavy weapon, or multiple teammates who can focus fire.

I left out radiance as usually Radiance isn't something you would go toe to toe with in a 1 on 1 situation. I've taken out plenty of active Radiance users, but usually it's because they are distracted throwing grenades at all my other teammates.
