So like, another game has a great feature or tools or method. It's universally considered to be the best way to do "A".

NIH Syndrome is the new company looks at it, completely ignores it or doesn't want to copy or mimick, and creates their own method. A method that is either hated or considered inferior. Sometimes they'll evolve to copy the other company, but that's the gist of it....not considering an option because it didn't originate within the company.

Bungie in a nutshell.

Destiny 2 introduces dual wielding

Dual wielding Hawkmoon and The Last Word.

The lack of cohesive story in Destiny will be nullified for I will have created the most gangster woman in all space and time.

dude. That weapon has unique animations that are only used for that single gun, and the best fire rate of any hand cannon in the game.

I'm not interested in it for obvious reasons, but ideally I would have a partner that had it and wanted to help me conquer the universe.

...also yes, get pocket infinity, don't be silly.

Just take a step back. You're working against yourself a little bit here. Post what you would like to do, your platform, and your level, and ask for help!

I have The Devil You Know...I too would like to conquer the world...Why do we not play together? PSN ID is Greenymac

Wait, how? I see Invite to Fireteam but no option to join.
This has to do with how they're configured.

Fireteams can be set to:
Public (anyone can join)
Friends Only (must be friends on PSN/XBl, then can join)
Invite Only (no joining unless invited)
I forget the fourth one, Private or something? but anyway yeah. if they have chosen the first one, or you're friends and they've chosen the second, it will show.

Yes, but you have Become Legend (TM) in this thread so people flock to your parish...lol. Trust me, I've tried and I promise you that it's a major PITA.
well I'm flattered, but I hope you aren't seriously suggesting that, on www.destinylfg.net for example, my name is attracting more participation than anyone else would get. You can just as simply join an existing listing for the content you want.

Nobody can deny the game is extremely stingy with loot. You'll see what it's like once you hit 24 and try to progress. Now that you can get the Queen's armor easy, it won't be as big of a pain. Before that, you had to keep playing until RNGesus blessed you with a legendary armor piece.
No, you didn't. You just level vanguard/crucible/factions up and but all your gear. Why people don't do this and instead rely on random engrams is beyond me.

Only your Glimmer carries over. Everything else starts from scratch, and of course...whatever you store in the Vault can be shared between characters as long you have to required level met.

Thanks for the response!
I was hoping it carried over in the same way getting access to your secondary subclass does.

Because leveling up the crucible to lvl 2 takes about 12 -14 hours...

The chances of getting a randomly dropped Legendary on your way to Rank 2 of either Vendor is not astronomically low. The Grind to Rank 2 on the other hand is very, very long.

So Vanguard gave me the Super Pox VLO. Never been into Pulse Rifles but how does it stack up against others?

It's amazing! SO AMAZING.

No, I really have no idea. I am just on here pushing Pulse Rifles because I use Bad Seed Down and I don't think anyone else in the universe rolls with pulse rifle as their go-to primary.

I am doing it because I have nothing better right now.

So you're saying, in the next 14 hours of playtime I will be SWIMMING in exotics???

Well they're supposed to get a buff so its probably wise to keep one.

They're a bit like the Battle Rifle in Halo which was godly. Yet Bungie seemed to have fucked up the Pulse Rifles.

Shame the patch isn't coming today as I've got a session open tonight. Guess I'm going to mop up some of the story missions I've missed.

Same here... I am sitting on a blue special engram but I don't want to turn it in until after the patch...

Any of the vendors dealing arc weapons currently?

Apparently the legendary sniper from the queens wrath missions is arc (or has a chance to be) if you haven't farmed those yet.

RNG...I have only seen 5 legendary engrams. My bro got 3 back to back in crucible last night while I'm #1 every time...it's pretty annoying. They should have the same chances for everyone but top 3 have a higher chance(all independent of one another of course). At least that's opinion.

That's how I did it. Sittin pretty at 27.5 with 2d5h playtime.

Easy as pie.

Ditto. I honestly just played the game. I didn't chase loot. Put hours in, do what you enjoy (but do put extra time/effort into the weekly/daily/strike playlist) and it'll all come in due time. I'm still short some exotic weaponry but I have like 45 hours or less of total play time.

TOP 3 ITEMS
Shingen C/E
This weapon has pretty much been with me for the majority of my playtime, even now at level 27 I'm still using the E variant. I'm so used to how it handles now that I'll probably have trouble when I finally have to change to a different weapon. There is just something special about killing pretty much everything you come across with critical damage.

Skull Of Dire Ahamkara
No crazy stats but love the way it looks, this is probably the exotic piece of armour I wanted for my warlock. It's also the first exotic I managed to get my hands on, after having painstakingly saved up all those motes of light through my whole playtime I jumped on and bought my first item from Xur, a helmet engram, and rolled the dice...

Manifold Seeker
It simply just looks awesome, how I wish this was a legendary piece of gear because then I wouldn't change it for anything else... not to be, but this is still going to be kept in my vault.

Bounties. Patrols. Or just go ahead and keep grinding for random loot that could decrypt into armor for another class, however you want to spend your time.

So Vanguard gave me the Super Pox VLO. Never been into Pulse Rifles but how does it stack up against others?

Super Pox VLO is my main primary. I'll generally take a strong pulse rifle over anything else in terms of versatility and overall performance. In the Nightfall mine is an easy 800-1200 per burst and had a very good effective range without being too unwieldy in the close/near-mid.

Edit - in fact I should swap the MIDA with this on that three item list, I really use it more than any other individual weapon. I really want to try that raid pulse rifle.
