Ugh, man, I keep getting rocket launchers from everything and it's driving me nuts. I got some rocket launcher from the raid with bonus damage against Oracles, as if I am EVER going to waste rockets on those.
Yeah, when I was doing last weeks it was much quicker to kill the boss solo then when I did it with 2 others.

Yes. Only the Queen's armor was nerfed.

Yeah, that was only from the Queen's legendaries that shouldn't give you shards.

I have max legendary Armor with an exotic. The only higher armor available is the one from the raid.

Pretty sure they scale. I actually think the daily/weekly/nightfall are sometimes easier solo until the end boss/wave of enemies.

If the damn weapon merchant ever sold fusion rifles I could get my first exotic weapon... (after the nightfall kills, of course but that's much easier). I'm praying to the Destiny Gods that Xur puts the exotic chest I want in the store this weekend, was way disappointed with his offerings last weekend.

Hey Dax, I don't think anyone answered me before but I know that you'd know, is the patch solely to fix the color engram issue/blues more likely to turn purple? Someone else made it sound like there was more to the update.
This. Once it gets patched, I'm going crazy on the Tiger strikes.

Cryptarch Changes
Cayde-6 took the Cryptarch aside and showed him a sack of doorknobs. He decoded that mystery pretty quickly.
Legendary Engrams will always produce Legendary or better quality items, including Materials or Exotics
Rare Engrams will always produce Rare or better quality items
Rare engrams will have an increased chance to produce Legendary quality items
Activity Changes
Daily Heroics, Weekly Heroics, and Vanguard: Tiger Playlist activities will include Rare and Legendary Engrams in addition to their existing rewards
Item Changes
Ascendant materials have been promoted to Legendary to closer associate them with the gear they are used to upgrade
Legendary Engram items that exist in your inventory will be demoted to Rare quality when the patch goes live, so decode them while you can. But lets be honesteven if you dont, we all know they were blues already
Everyone needs to read and understand the bolded so there is no crying when the patch hits.

I think so too. My experience so far soloing is that its overall easier, you just have to make sure you have all the correct tools to get the greatest benefit.
For example, if it's Arc Burn and you have a boat load of arc weapons you probably could and maybe should try soling first. If you don't have the correct element, you'll want to group up with those that do, but the enemies and bosses will be tougher in response.

I dunno, what's going on with yours?
I have not done anything that I would qualify as grinding while playing this game. I am only level 23, so maybe I will have to soon, but so far I have never felt like "I need better gear or to be a higher level to do what I want to do."

That was my first exotic weapon and I was less than thrilled. Honestly, the last thing I needed was a primary shotty. I play most PvE and I already have access to shotguns via my secondary. Even in PvP I really don't see the point of it.
I always try to double up my bounties with patrols. Like, I'll wait until I have a bounty for 6 patrols and/or 200 kills from that planet, then it's worth it more. I choose my patrols daily by what bounties are offered. I always need materials so I just try to combine stuff for as many points as possible. Usually while I'm there a public event will pop up too.

Yeah I just assumed that there was no way Bungie.net wouldn't be blocked form work but...I can actually get to it! I was hoping Dax would post what it said but tried the link for the heck of it hehe Thanks. Only thing I didn't already know or remember was the rare or legendary engram award for the heroics/nightly. This does indeed make it conflicting to do them before the patch but at the same time you want that week long bonus from nightly hmmm decisions decisions.

Doing bounties is easy as pie and can be fit in while you play the game normally. I have rep with everyone and its really worth it. I swim in legendaries. Plus if you have extra points you salvage the legendaries for shards.
People doing cave grinding are wasting their time.
