Speaking of which, can anybody tell me what this iron banner is about? Is it a whole other faction to rep for? If so, are the rewards actually any good? 0_0

Man, it kinda sucks you can only do the raid and nightfall once a week. I had a lot fun tonight doing those things, but now it's back to the regular boring old grind. Sigh.

I think they should just add a mode that's opposite of iron banner, where everyone starts with the same load out and exotics can be found on the ground.call it tin banner or something.
 
So is there a cheese method for the strike this week or is it easy enough to not have to bother with it? I can see the lack of elemental burn on the Weekly Heroic being a bit of a pain.

I agree it needs matchmaking all my friends are to low level or we can't get enough of us online at the same time.

I can't even get a fire team to finish the thorn bounty by defeating xyor the unwed it's nearly impossible solo I spent 3 hours strait playing it today. The lack of matchmaking is making me want to put this game down and play something else.
 
In a game where a white Shingen can pretty much hold its own against anything, people complain about the hardest to obtain gun in the game, lol.

Those people were complete trash in that video, but that seems to be 90% of the PS4 user base in PVP.

A match made party wouldn't be able to complete the raid. You guys need to let that dream die at least until the 2nd one is out and maybe they nerf it to easy mode.

My problem with voting for maps is that eventually, you start to see the same thing happen, as people develop favorites and stop wanting to go off them. I'd prefer a weighted map selection, so when it picks a map it becomes dramatically less likely to pick it again for a bit.

About to hit Vanguard Level 6. At first it was a grind but now I just pick the daily bounties and go with it at my own leisure without really thinking about it.

I will say that in Patrol mode you should always pick up the missions as you can be doing 2-3 bounties (+50-+100 Vanguard rep) at the same time while also doing green light special missions(+10-+25 Vanguard rep).

A guaranteed Legendary is worth it with each rank up.
 
The raid gave me nothing but shards :'( Fingers crossed Atheon gives me something useful tomorrow.




That mythoclast is so ridiculous. It's basically the sniper the vex hobgoblins use isn't it?

You mean like this other game I heard of called Halo? Who were the guys that made Halo again, I forgot.

I guess I could see how it is tough to make a group.
Especially since you are typing on one of the largest forums for like-minded people of which many are eager to raid as well.

This same problem was in FFXIV when people couldn't socialize enough to form statics for the endgame. Just post on here or on destinylfg.net and you'll find a group in no time.

This isn't Halo, nor should they try to make it Halo. Reach tried that, and it was pure garbage.

Destiny's PVP should focus on 3v3, it's a unique experience that can be great. The scoring, salvage in particular needs to be reworked.

But anyone going into 6v6 and expecting this game to ever be balanced is just playing the wrong game.

Yeah, I might have completely moved on by then. One single raid is really not enough in the content department. I'm basicly done with my main character for the rest of the week, since everything else I do isn't gonna help progress him. Levelling up an alt for the sole reason to keep me busy and to get more raid opportunities in. But it won't be long 'till that too gets "boring". Really do enjoy the gameplay, but starting to feel the lack of content really hard now.

I have posted in this thread like 3 times looking for help with xyor the unwed for my exotic bounty and not one response so obviously its not that easy. I spent 5 hours total now trying to solo this mission and im fed up with the game.

Haha, that sounds like me (though I'm only almost level 27).

I've just been grinding out singleplayer stuff for the most part.

Try reddit r/fireteams.

Whenever I post there it takes max of 5 minutes to fill up a fireteam. Usually takes around 20 to set up for a raid.

I've done the Xyor bounty three times in the last three days. First I was asked by a random person here to help.

Second, I helped a friend and we got a third random person from Destinylfg.net.

Third, I asked here for help with my own bounty and had four people offer.

Our raid group are all random people I met in game. A couple from Gaf and a few from strikes.

They should improve the social features, but it's not difficult to find people.

Maybe your problem is you need to be a 6th.

Why can't you be a 1st? Take the initiative and create a group. There are plenty of people who play during your time. Especially on weekends.

Or take it one step further and make it like CoD where you can only vote on the same map you just played once and then it takes it out of rotation.
 
After 6 Queens today, I finally got my Arc Sniper to do Nightfall solo. So happy now that I have a good weapon for every element!
