So I put the ps4 in standby while I was in the tower (didn't close out the app before I chose standby mode) and it never went in standby but the screen just shows a spinning circle, it's been like this for 20 minutes. I tried holding down the power spot on the console but no sounds happen. I can eject the disc but it doesn't do anything. I'm afraid to just unplug it. Any ideas on what I should do?

I think I got all the Raid Weapons now. Already got Praedyth's Revenge, Athean's Epilogue, Vision of Confluence, 3 Found Verdicts, and now Corrective Measure.
Still no Raid Armor*.
The Light of The Great Prism does not count!
Is there any reason to try the hard mode? Would we get separate loot?
I feel like that group could do it.
I've got a full set of Legendary armor (including an Exotic helm).
Am I correct in assuming the ideal upgrade path is maxing the exotic but not using ass shards on my non-raid armor? Ass stuff is hard to come by and it'd kill me to use them up in armor I'll replace when I finally get something better for it.

I've a feeling I'll be looking for four people to do a raid with me and my lazy friend tomorrow/Thursday once I've finished the current run with BritGaf. Running on UK times, preferably ending session at or near 11pm as otherwise I'll have to turn my mic off anyway.
Gimme a PM if you want to run it with us. I imagine BritGaf'll want a break from raid til weekend after tomorrow.
Shame there's no reward for being a good guy and dragging your lazy friends through the raid so they can get the loot too.

It's RNG. All I've ever done is Riksis and it dropped for me after many tries.

Only use ass shards on your normal legendaries after you get 87 for the full exotic + 3 legendary upgrades.

I keep hearing weird things about how to solo Nightfalls. Last week had about a dozen different strats. I just hopped down and punched Sekrioioern in the face with a fully upgraded Gjallarhorn. This week there are a couple more strats when the easiest is right there where you start the final encounter. There are two pieces of cover stacked near the wall as soon as you come in. Arc sniper to the skull and he dies quick.
Would have held off on the Nightfall, but I have weapons to level. Didn't get any energy :\ but I did get that Legendary Auto Rifle (Shadow Price) everyone raves about. It's ok.

Going to get Invective again so I can tear it down for energy. I have 3 levels worth of Cryptarch packages in my mailbox and a bunch of other stuff. Make with the patching already.
The only Queen's Wrath legendaries are Hat, Chest, Ship and Sniper correct?
Had the ship and sniper drop for me. Think I am done with those now. Will still be building rep, but not going to worry about losing tokens as I already have 10.

We could get loot. It's just hard as hell. The first part is easy since they are all level 26 and we can revive. It's just once inside where things goes downhill for us. Enemies are level 30, no revives, etc.

I'm at 89 light with 1 upgrade missing on my exotic (missing 1 shard) and two "normal" upgrades pending on my Legendary chest piece.
My exotic is currently at +27 light so I'm guessing the last upgrade will give me +3. Once my chest is at +22 like my gauntlets and boots I'll have a total of 96 light.
Meaning Level 28 will absolutely require I use Shards on a "regular" Legendary armor. Crap.

Did you know that if you're the leader of a fireteam in Nightfall, you can have one of the other team members, if they die, quit the game then join again, bringing them back to life? The game doesn't know if you joined after death, or just hopping in. So if you can't get to the guy who's dead, they should quit and return.
Fireteam leader should be a sunsinger and safely squirreled away while the other two do all the heavy fighting and sweating. Just have to put this plan to mastery vs this weeks Nightfall...

Haha, it's all good man, we did pretty well especially with you guys not knowing about it.
Seems like Bungie is staying quiet so far on when it's coming out. I really wish they'd pull a Blizzard and give a little more specific heads up.
We did surprisingly well in the raid today. We got the door opened in 2-3 minutes, defeated the Oracles on the first run, and beat Athean on the first run.
We could've beaten the Templar on the first run if not for me flying off the pillar while attempting to get out of his bubble thing. (I held the relic)
And Gorgons, well it took us a few attempts once we got both chests.
Speaking of chests, I can't believe I got a green armor and 2 sky blooms from a "raid" chest. -__-

Nightfall is the single most rewarding activity other than finishing the raid.
It's RNG of course but your chances of getting something awesome from Nightfall are better than anywhere else. I've gotten 3 exotics and 11 Ascendant Energy through 4 nightfall runs total.
That's from the 'bloom' chest, it's glitched and only gives shitty loot. The other 3 chests in the raid are legit. Supposedly it's a placeholder one and the real one got removed or is yet to come with fixes.
