Seriously who thought doing everything all over again when you want to level up another class was a good idea? I want to try Titan and I need to level Vanguard faction again? Is doing the boring story missions and repetitive bounties not enough?
 
Rank 8 Vanguard, yay. Will just save my package for the patch in case of engrams. LOL @ doing 25 strikes for this bounty, though. Are they trying to kill me with boredom?

they want you to feel attached to your characters
 
To be honest i think it's silly that every level 30 character is gonna look exactly the same except the exotic they will wear and the shader, where is the individuality in looking different then anyone else. I personally received warlock leg armour from raid and dismantled it straight after as they looked absolutely trash, I like the helmet though. I wish there was a system in raid that you could highlight specific items in your inventory and these would have a chance of ascending to raid level quality and be able to create a guardian who would look just like you want. Hopefully the new raids will have some more diversity.

Wish you didn't even have to do the story missions again. I really want to get my Titan leveled up but after running both Lock/Hunter all the way to 27...I just cannot get passed the Moon.

Rep from factions should be account wide, zero doubt. The thought of getting Vanguard to Rank 3 for the third time, nope.

At least they could give us an EXP buff or something. As soon as I have 3 charas maxed a patch with an EXP buff will be released.

I bought the gun yesterday and I'm loving it so far. I came from the Bad Seed Down pulse rifle with upgraded mag before that and I still don't mind the mag size of the SP.
It's accurate and powerful enough to pop heads left and right without constantly reloading. Used it for the Lv 26 weekly Strike and it did a fine job. I felt I killed the Cabal faster with my SP than with the tank vehicles!
I hope they don't nerf ARs too much with the patch but I didn't know what else to buy with my marks and I have to run 25 strikes for Bad Juju. I'll do that by hitting the Lv 24 Vanguard Strike playlist anyways so I'll restock on marks pretty quickly.

Did the raid, got ass shards and ass energy the entire way through, after that I did the weekly got 9 coins I don't really need and nothing else, after that I did the nightfall where bungie pooped on my face for spending an hour by giving me some more weapon parts. Still using nothing but bought gear.
 
Those who have beaten the Hard mode raid, is it possible at level 29? Or should I try for 30 beforehand? I've haven't been lucky in my quest for more normal raid gear, so I can't hit 30 as soon as I'd like, but I'm 29.
 
I was lucky in raid and got Hawkmoon and legendary ship, unfortunately one in my team got shards and another chatter white shader. Tbh I should spread the raid, nightfall and weekly throughout the week instead completing them in one evening, there is nothing left except crucible, dayiles and farming. Lucky I got into bloodborne alpha.
 
I really wish they'd allow us to respec armour. What's the point if I find a new chestplate I like and can't even use it until I gather all the upgrade materials again.
 
I think the worst part about raiding is the fact that some dudes run it three times and get everything they need and other dudes get shat on like some sort of gory flick and just get inundated with ass shards. Fairly sure my guardian smells like a walking toilet with all of these ass shards on him. It's like some shitty norse mythology. I'm fairly sure I'm an Assguardian.

So you have the best gear that is obtainable outside of raids? What are you really expecting? Even with the adjustment, you probably aren't going to find better gear through strikes.

I just the raid in an hour and 45 minutes. It's pretty easy the second time through. I got pretty much all shards/energy again until the end when I got an exotic Machine Gun and a legendary ship. I would of rathered some raid gear instead, but atleast it's better than what I got yesterday. Is the Thunderlord exotic any good? That's the name of the machine gun I got.

Edit: How do I still not have the raid achievement after beating it twice? Has this happened to anyone else as well?

Sounds nice. I compared the stats from Shadow Price with Vanquisher and don't really see a difference. I can afford both, but which one?
 
I'm pretty much done with this game now. I've reached maximum level you can reach with none raid gear (level 29), done the raid twice, upgraded all my armor, most of my weapons and done pretty much everything there is. Played for over 80 hours.

There no way I'm going to farm the raid just to get raid gear, which again means farming for more Ass Shards which I'm dead tired of farming.

Fits perfectly though as Shadow of Mordor comes out in two days (Europe).

No I don't, I have a random smattering of shit that I could afford with the light stat I needed. It could have better stats, better perks or whatever. And yes I'd like some lvl 30 gear so I don't have to get buttraped by enemies that have ridiculous damage scaling applied.
 
I've seen mixed reviews on whether the nightfall is manageable solo (level 27 Warlock here). The YouTube videos make it seem like a cakewalk, but the same could be said for almost every tough level in gaming. Plus, every video I've seen has been by a level 28 or 29 player which makes a huge difference as far as I know. So, any advice from solo players (other than to take in arc weapons). Thx.
 
I managed to solo the Nightfall weekly on my Warlock. The reward was an Legendary Pulse Rifle I already had but it did give me enough rep for rank 3 Vanguard (which ended up giving me an Legendary Machine Gun I already had).
