Man I love this gun. Reminds me of something out of Mass Effect. I cant believe I scored this plus Raid boots while everyone else in my party got kinda screwed in the spoils department last night. I felt kinda bad, especially cause I wasnt playing as good as I should have been.
I got it from a legendary engram I got while on patrol. The very same way I got my helmet (Light beyond nemesis). So weird.

What on earth are you saying isn't true? You can raid for rewards once per week per character, I promise.
The one exotic I do have is a titan helmet I bought from Xur, so doesn't count here. Yes, I do have like 6 raid weapons... which is nice. But still, no exotics (other than what I bought; 1 helm).
I play at hours where I can't use mic chat, and when I can, my mates aren't online, so I cannot play the Raid. There's no alternative way for me to get LV29 to LV30. It's stupid. Destiny REQUIRES you to search for people in chat. The raid requires coordination, but not so much that you need to have the while team talking at once. And even if you do, you will get it with randoms.
Not including it basically wrote it off. I dunno how fun it would be doing the raid, and I can tell you, Nightfall Strikes with 3 people or Solo is just as fun as each other.
Whatever the Raid requires because of its design, it's freaking stupid to lock the only way to level up to it. Good exotic gear and elemental primaries? Sure, but levelling up? Even if I don't need to be LV30, there is no way I can progress anymore.
I will do a daily because it's quick and easy, but with less hours spent than it took to Gen 10 Titanfall, I'm locked out. All because I have to find 5 other people to play after midnight with me.
Finally got my first exotic bounty yesterday. I did what evrybody here is suggesting, to turn 5 bounties from the same faction at the same time. Yesterday I grab 5 out of the 6 bounties from the Vanguard, I finished all of them and turn them in at the same time. As soon as I finished turning in the last one, the exotic bounty popped up.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think the Suros Prime, once you "upgrade" it to do more damage per shot but shots are slower, really shits the bed. I just don't like it at all and wish I hadn't upgraded it. I just feel like things die so much slower than with my hand cannon (and the Suros pre-upgrade).
Not true. Two weeks of raiding and all I've gotten are shards.
Hmmm do you have something that depicts this? I only know the one spot that was shown to me. All of us could fit but I wouldn't say there was a ceiling.

Anyone have any tips on using Bladedancer in PvE?

It's actually not bad especially if you get the next two upgrades. I didn't like it at first either but the additional damage makes a huge difference. My only gripe is the sound. It does start to grate on the ears.

I'm 100% convinced that your RNG will improve if you turn in things rapid fire like. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Whether it's turning in quests or engrams. I've received the exotic quests about 10 times total now.

But you get something? when the first chest we opened gave us nothing we went back to orbit assuming they would give us nothing to clear the raid again.

That's what a lot of people think and is why you don't see the gun much in PvP now after the weekend. They think it's shit and stashed it away.
They are wrong. Aim for the head and upgrade it further once you get to the point where the bottom half of the mag does bonus damage and has a chance to heal you. That is 16 bullets and each one does more damage than the other. You just have to break the habbit of reloading it after killing a single enemy.
It's the best AR for PvP there is no doubt about it.

I did... I even accidentally scrapped the raid shotgun I got last time, felt bad about it, and got it again last night. That makes: 2 raid primaries (solar scout and void AR), 3 raid specials (2 shotguns and 1 sniper), and 1 raid heavy (corrective measure).Don't listen to his cries! He got an amazing AR in the raid
But still, to my original point. 0 exotics.

This game would be perfect for a premium item that sped up any of the progress halting timers similar to donuts in The Simpsons Tapped Out.
Or Bungie could just let us play the game at our own pace...
There are reasons. Mm has obvious downsides. The biggest being you can click it on a whim without even considering the commitment required. And while mm could fill those who drop out, the entire point of the raid is to build a team who know how to work together. Having to teach the new people and learn how the new team best works each time would make it incredibly tedious.
Mm isn't some flawless answer. A party board in game where you could advertise lfg and have to take your time finding a party would eliminate a lot of the people who never intended to commit. It wouldn't be perfect of course, but mm would be /full/ of drop outs.

Your lock out is per character. So you can run the raid 3 times and try your luck. The chests are also per character. The difference being the hard mode is on a separate loot table so you could run the raid twice on two separate difficulties and get gear. However the first chest I believe counts towards BOTH difficulties because it's technically not in "instance" yet.

you cant, he is just crouching, his reload makes it look like he is in cover.
I'm at work otherwise I'd take some screens, but basically you know that hallway you come into the final boss room at? Go diagonally across the room to the far corner, there's some crates stacked up on the lower level beneath the top level. You can hop over them and take cover. There's quite a bit of space back there.
