One raid gear piece away from 30 after 2 raids. 2 more down and I'm still one away. Time to try again tomorrow and not get it again. I don't know why I expected anything different.
 
Maybe cause I just sort of unlocked it I'm not getting the full awesomeness of it just yet but...Titan defender subclass is fucking terrible.
 
Is it true that you can only get the Raid helmet from hard mode? Heard someone saying that on Twitch today and wasn't sure if anyone has verified that. If so guess I should probably be on the lookout for an Exotic helmet from Xur sometime.

Edit: Think I see it being discussed above, sorry. Guess it is true then.

No not even close to terrible. Thing works magic in the raid and strikes. And people in pvp don't even understand how the damn thing even works so it's free kills when you place one down and stand inside.

I thought the same thing but I've nearly unlocked everything on it and I think its brilliant for Strikes. It works even better with my Exotic helmet. Been using it more than Striker.
 
I need to do a quick run through the weekly strike for an Exotic bounty it could even be the level 22 version anyone want to team up? Add me on PS4 PSN is VincentGold

Nope, your shield continually recharges for the regular duration of the barrier. So say it's 10 seconds, and you take a hit 5 seconds in, after the hit the shield will recharge, and stay charged until the ten seconds is up.

I'm not so sure of that. For the first phase, I'd rather use the Striker super on Praetorians, and for the last phase, you tend to move around a lot so Ward of Dawn isn't very useful. Plus, the Strike subclass has a powerful grenade that hits three times. When fighting Atheon, you have infinite grenades so you can spam them during Time's Vengeance (which gives you a huge damage boost) and cause massive damage.

But yeah, I guess Defender is useful against the Templar.

The shield you get will always recharge while you have the Force Barrier buff active.

They're not worth doing since the legendaries they give you don't break down into ass shards anymore.

First phase, use "Weapons of Light" and the Suppressor grenade. Weapons of light makes it easier to take down the Praetorians and Suppressor grenade deals void damage AND stops the Praetorians from being able to teleport.

Do you need 3 pieces or Raid Gear + an exotic to get to level 30? I have an Exotic helmet (fully upgraded) + Raid chestpiece + Raid gauntlets (fully upgraded) but my boots are non-Raid legendary (upgraded too) and I'm level 28.
 
got legendary engram from chest on moon, cryptarch gives me a legendary fusion rifle called "77 Wizard".. Almnost a full bar of impact, 248 damage stock, Arc type...

Yours is Arc? Mine came with Solar damage.

Well, I have an almost fully-upgraded Atheon's Epilogue (auto-rifle), so it deals Void damage by default :p

Wrong ish lol

You use the Relic attack on the Praetorians and mobs (inside portals) then weapons of light + relic super on the Atheon.
 
You know those random times when you just do something cause you can...

the queen thing was disappointing when it was just a rep grind
but then you could get shards from the mission rewards so everything was good
and then they took the shards away so now it's back to disappointing

Yep. Between the loot cave and this, Bungie is like "we don't care that we put it in the game and you guys are not cheating or breaking it, but we don't want you to level up with easy to get mats."
 
Hope I get some Raid gear today... Hard Mode here we come!

Did get the Prime Wooflock bond from a chest yesterday though, which is all sparkly and lovely.
