I don't understand the balance of the bounties. Some are super quick and can be knocked out in Patrol in five minutes like "melee kill 30 enemies without dying" or "Kill 20 enemies without taking damage from them" while some like "Kill 2 enemies at once with a Fusion Rifle, 20 times." or "kill 3 enemies with a single super use, 20 times" take forever unless you engineer a specific situation (ie "We've awokent the hive!"). But they're all worth the same amount in the end (only the Strike ones are worth more, unless I'm misremembering).

I guess it is all fine when you consider the day's available Vanguard bounties as a package deal for X rep, but if you're just picking a few to do but don't want to grind them all out it is bizarre that there is such high variance between them.

It was when I handed it in (and only handed that one in), not in rewards screen. I checked my Vanguard level, it's half way to 6, so it wasn't that either.

I think it's pretty obvious what happened here lol. They upgraded ascendant materials to legendary status so they could make legendary engrams turn into them more often. This way your legendary engrams are still turning into legendary items. N'est-ce pas?

Alright, went in with 19 blues and six more from packages for leveling up the Cryptarch twice, of which only one was legendary. My total legendary rewards were a fusion rifle and 2 ass shards.

Not a huge improvement so far for me...
