Five Tiger strikes done, all blue weapons or engrams so far at the rewards. 2 engrams became Motes of Light which was ok. None of the other people got a Legendary or picked one up throughout the strike.

Before the randomness he was just en Exchange Button. Adding the randomness gave him "character".

Is there a reason most people in PvP don't wait until their shield restores when getting in a long range battle? When I'm doing my scout rifle bounties I notice this usually is what does people in. What's the point of taking cover, only to come out with the damage still there?

Shouldn't happen any more with today's patch. Blue is now Rare and above, Purple is Legendary and above.

Ahhh, okay, I thought the patch was meant to happen yesterday but I did notice I hadn't downloaded anything so I wasn't sure if it was all server-side or how it worked.

What actually triggers receiving an exotic bounty? I'm level 25 and have done a ton of them but have yet to see one.

You only get a package from the first public event per day you complete. Anything on top of that for further events you get right at the event completion, and is random.

I ran two Tiger Strikes and the Daily Heroic and got all blues. Also got a blue hand cannon called NIFTY_BISCUIT that I've never seen before.

Good choice. That's what I would choose as well... if I ever get an exotic bounty that is.

I will say that Thorn is a lot of fun in PvE, and I haven't yet unlocked the damage over time "bleed" upgrade. I definitely understand the complaints about small magazine and slow reload though. I've switched to an easier to use gun for the more difficult content. Hopefully the rumored buff makes it better. I'm also going to give it a try with a set of gauntlets with the faster hand cannon reload perk, and see how that goes.

OK here are some non scientific numbers.

I have done 8 tiger strikes. After 7 strikes I got 2 blues, after one I got four. Maybe a third of these were blue engram's. I also got one blue engram's to drop every two strikes.

I never saw a legendary drop for me or group members during or after. Also none of those blues decrypted into legendary materials or gear.


So in short tiger strike playlist is only good for farming marks NOTHING else. During these strikes I think we only had one wipe.

In short tiger strike playlist is still sadly garbage and that sucks for people who want to play without doing a bunch of bugging people on forums or spamming them on psn.

I'm probably going to stop playing until the expansion once 2k15 comes out and gamefly sends shadow of mordor. Unless I check on GAF at the perfect time when someone needs a raid or nightfall member there's simply nothing for me to do to advance.

I beg to differ. If you do the raid enough times to actually get 4 pieces of raid gear, you will have shards coming out both of your assholes.

Furthermore, you need to reach level 29 so that you can do the raid on Hard, thus giving you twice as many chances per week to get the raid gear you need to reach 30. Definitely spend your shards to get to 29.

I REALLY REALLY want to try the Raid. I'll be hitting 28 (fully upgraded Voidwalker & Sunbro) tonight, so I'll finally have the nerve to step in there.

Didn't want to go in with any less than that light level because I hate being carried.

Now I just need a decent Sniper rifle and a few buddies that are willing to give it a go.
