I REALLY REALLY want to try the Raid. I'll be hitting 28 (fully upgraded Voidwalker & Sunbro) tonight, so I'll finally have the nerve to step in there.

Didn't want to go in with any less than that light level because I hate being carried.

Now I just need a decent Sniper rifle and a few buddies that are willing to give it a go.

If anyone here is down to run it, possibly tomorrow or whenever, just shoot me a PM for PSN. I'm usually on about 9-Midnight EST

I'm in, fully leveled Void jumper and Sunbro, I have pretty much every element covered in my special and heavy weapons. Mainly on 6-11 central, hopefully we can work something out! Currently 1 light away from 28... dang you ascendant shards!

Also, having an exotic to buff sunbro and another to buff voidjumper is sweet, but it means I have to level up even more gear to have even light levels with each build.

Got my Hunter to lv20 tonight, immediately equiped the Knucklebreaker exotic helmet and moved the Hawkmoon (and a legendary fusion rifle & rocket launcher) from my Titan to my Hunter, since he already has Suros Regime. Jumped in quick on my bro doing a Queen's Wrath mission on Earth and got a chest out of that, and like that my Hunter borders lv23 already. Man, what a difference from my Titan's progression lol.

It doesn't feel as if the bosses had their health nerfed. I'm guessing that's for another patch.

well, er, it's gonna get buffed!

it's a matter of opinion really. if you want to do the hard mode raid ASAP then you wanna hit 29 asap in whatever matter possible. if you're okay taking things more slowly then waiting at 28 to spend your shards on your first raid gear is a reasonable approach too.

I was kind of like this but F it. I'm not gonna sit there with waiting upgrades on gear I have equipped and shards in the inventory waiting for a random drop to keep progressing.

anything that is not for titan gets melted down. Any accendant shards I find get put into whatever piece of gear will benefit me the most at the time.

I may never get a raid chest piece or boots, why not get as powerful as my current gear lets me?

I've been flooded with acc energy lately, I'm sure shards will come.

The changes to strike bosses aren't part of this patch unfortunately. That said my DPS has increased rather substantially since the last time I did a 24 strike...

Some of the patch reactions are starting to get hilarious. It's as if people thought Rahool would transform into a God and shit purple engrams(or blues that turned purple) from the sky.

My one hope was that the hardest pve match made list would be better for finding upgrade materials than shitty boring chest runs or just running circles in patrol. Unfortunately its not which is kinda pathetic.

You should! I love skirmish so much more than 6v6, plus I prefer the maps that pop up on skirmish more too.

I've only done normal raid mode once and I got the raid cloak, and the (hard mode) raid chest and legs.

Yep, I swap it in place of my Raid void AR for moon missions. It takes wizards down unbelievably fast.

What do you mean? Like, which upgrades to use in the subclass or are you asking for a defender titan to join you in a raid?

I use the ward of dawn with blessing of light weapon buff. Really helpful for teammates.

I second this on the upgrades. I was lukewarm on it initially but it's proven its worth over time. Full auto scout rifle, can never go back.

Of course then I got another 2 drops of it between the normal and hard raids this week. It's good, but I don't need 3 of any gun.

Just had the glitciest raid run of all time.

Atheon was warping from spot to spot, teleporter only took two through at a time multiple times, people got one shot inside the relic shield, it was horrid.

But it was all worth it.

Because we got the last word.

Maybe you've already got it covered, but make sure you have a Defender Titan for Illuminated Weapons of Light buff on Atheon final boss. It makes a huge difference.

For the bosses, spec weapons of light. I'd also recommend magnetic or special restricting grenades. Otherwise, I don't think there's anything much else. I have mine specced fully for armor (2nd and 4th column):
