Sounds good. Hopefully I'll be able to survive, as even the regular mob enemies will be eating chunks off my health. Probably will have to stay a safe distance away from the action and shoot from afar. If I can't revive you, will probably have to retreat till the respawn timer's down. On that note, maybe I should start working on my defensive subclass for the titan in the meantime so I can put the bubble up.
 
What's the best way you guys use voice chat in this game? I have the Sony Golds and the music and sound effects come through so loud that I can barely hear anyone talking when wearing them.

Bungie, why is there no sound settings with sliders?

Yeah, I have to have audio coming through my speakers and only chat coming through my big headphones because of this.

If it matters any, if you use the Sony gold app, there is a desired mix for this game

The Golds have a game audio/voice balance slider. Yours might have gotten knocked into a bad position. I remember there was one time I thought my Elites died but the slider was just at max voice, no game.

Exactly. If it didn't glitch it would be a cakewalk once you know the techniqe. At least it keeps it challenging I guess...

If you have the Gold headset you have separate volume regulation or voice and game audio. I don't have the issue you describe.
 
Anybody attempting VoG hard on PS4 and looking for another? I'm a 29 hunter, cleared normal 3 times, and attempted hard a few times with pugs.

With the last word fully upgraded, you will out dps the hawkmoon consistently in the raid and in crucible.

If your fighting trash mobs or enemies that don't rush you then maybe the hawkmoon can enter the conversation.
 
My head is on fire.

I got a Legendary Pulse Rifle that's worse than the one I had already, and I quite like the XP bonus, but my head is one fire and it's awesome.

Hunter- bladedancer, although that match I posted, I intentionally did not use Arc Blade a single time (was just testing how well I could do with Pocket Infinity alone).

So far as I know, it should be understood as at least a guaranteed blue engram each strike.

Lol. They're actually both fantastic. The Last Word's fire rate and from-the-hip accuracy (not to mention those animations) make it completely unique, whereas Hawkmoon is just The Best at What It Does.

We're more than a quarter of the way to OT7, LOL
 
The first blue engram I decrypted post patch gave me a legendary item, after every legendary engram prior gave me a blue. I feel like the game just apologized to me.
 
I just did the best raid run I ever had. In terms of completion and loot. God damn. Wow
After 3 try's for loot I got the motherload.

Loot:
Raid Cloak
Raid Ship
Raid Chest Piece
Shards/Energy
Raid Assault Rifle
Gjallarhorn

Nah. Bungies level designers literally made those spots on the strikes for a reason, and taking them out wouldn't make any sense.
 
The Cryptarch rank up mail I saved was all blues anyway. Dead Orbit had a legendary Auto in the mail for me, though.

I was killed by another player while in the Dust Palace strike today. He hit me with his sparrow boost and one shotted me. Why is this in the game at all? Seems like an easy way to grief people.
 
Just trying to upgrade all of my Raid weapons. My Vision of Confluence is fully upgraded. Does nearly 1700 crit damage per bullet against the Athean, nearly 700 crit against normal enemies, and 300 normal damage. The Praedyth is sogood to use. Never has getting headshots been so fun. Headshots with it causes a mini explosion. The Athean's Epilogue has a magazine of 70. I don't know how much you normally carry but with armor upgrades like "carry more auto rifle" I carry nearly 900 bullets for that gun. I have both Athean and Praedyth equipped with the reload upgrade, making reloads quite instant.

you're going to love them once you get them and upgrade the, a bit. Trust me.
 
Did the daily earlier on lvl 24 and got energy and a legendary engram. The improved system is already paying off. This is how things should have been from the start.

Why on earth would they make cheesing a fight an intentional mechanic?

Even Bungie can't be that bad at design. I'm not convinced.
 
Looking for some people for a normal Raid run. (First timers preferably)

We'll start as soon as we get a group of 6. Remember, we are first timers, so it might take us a while to figure everything out.
