I just did the best raid run I ever had. In terms of completion and loot. God damn. Wow
After 3 try's for loot I got the motherload.

Did the daily earlier on lvl 24 and got energy and a legendary engram. The improved system is already paying off. This is how things should have been from the start.

LOL this is hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Did the Level 28 Daily yesterday and for some odd reason I GOT NOTHING! But today totally different story! This patch may keep me with the game for a much longer time... we will see how this weekend goes...

Anyone used Atheon's Epilogue in the vault yet? How good is it against the predetorians?

It takes down their shield quite fast but after that, it's useless. An entire clip takes out shield and maybe a fourth of its health. I rather use Vision of Confluence since it does more damage.

Yeah, I have to have audio coming through my speakers and only chat coming through my big headphones because of this.

The Golds have a game audio/voice balance slider. Yours might have gotten knocked into a bad position. I remember there was one time I thought my Elites died but the slider was just at max voice, no game.

If it matters any, if you use the Sony gold app, there is a desired mix for this game

Yeah I have it set to Destiny in the app and I turn it on to setting 2.

Well it was dumb that all this special stuff resulted in kinda no reward and this patch fixed that. Now it looks like I will actually try to go for lvl 30 and after that possibly level up some other class. Then wait for the new content in december.

I got this wierd bug during VoG earlier, my Suros Regime was stuck in full auto (shoot from the hip) mode but I was getting the same damage I get when scoped.

Atheons Epilogue is great for the raid in general. I got it on my first clear and used it as my main primary for all 8 clears since (6 normal, 2 hard). Also lets me focus my Exotic on the Gjallahron (sp?) rocket launcher which is also fantastic for the vault (pretortians, Atheon DPS, etc.).

What's the best way you guys use voice chat in this game? I have the Sony Golds and the music and sound effects come through so loud that I can barely hear anyone talking when wearing them.

Bungie, why is there no sound settings with sliders?

Take a look at your left ear piece on the Gold Headset. See where it says Sound/Chat, play around with that, it will lower the music/increase the volume for the chat. Took me a little while to figure out as it was perfect in the beginning and got messed up when I was trying to adjust the volume by accident.

So yeah your headset is capable of doing what you asked.

Though I do wish they had slider options for their audio in the game (music, voice, and what not). I'd much rather turn the music all the way down, and play my own, while patrolling or doing missions/strikes I've already done. Still want to hear the sound effects though.

That's strange. I never found a way to get music / sound to even come through the sony gold headset to begin with. It only comes through the speakers on my TV. I thought this was just an issue with the game. Am I doing something wrong?

Absolute beast on bosses!
The ammo regen is a godsend I tell yas.

Don't have the auto upgrade yet, but I've seen it in action <3
That combined with the mag upgrade and this thing jus tears mobs to shreds!

So I just realized that, even though I'm at the 200 mark cap, my available marks for the week are decreasing. Does this make any sense? I need to do vanguard rep stuff (which tends to include marks), because I can't buy any vanguard gear (with the 200 marks I have). Basically, Bungie is stopping me from earning marks that I can't even use/have. Ole Bungie and impeding progress at it again.

Ah, cool thanks. I'll have to take a look at it again. It's pretty dark when I play with it and it's still pretty new, have only used it 3 times so far. Guess I didn't look at it close enough.

Yep, sliders in game are definitely needed. Can't believe a game in this day and age that is so multiplayer focused doesn't have it.

Despite having put in 70+ hours, I still don't think I've experienced enough of the weapons, barely scraping the barrel when it comes to Legendaries. Not quite sure how much this effects the value of my opinion.

Anyway;

1. Suros Regime - Speaks for itself. Headshot machine. Mows down mobs with constant precision.

2. Knucklehead Radar - As a big ADS guy, radar being up when I'm aiming with my primary is a godsend. Situational awareness can be vital when facing the more difficult challenges, and I like that this Helmet isn't overly specific in terms of subclass perks.

3. The Supremacy - First Legendary Sniper I came across, and a damn good one too. Mine has Solar damage, and has been very useful against those damn Wizards! Solid and dependable.
