I agree.

Even with the upcoming buff, the crap mag size and pathetic reaload speed (even with an armor boost) will always put it in the meh category.

Don't know that FWC S Rifle, but the raid drops a really nice SR called Visions of Confluence. Primary with Solar damage and upgrade for full auto fire. It's a real finger saver!

I've gotten 3 of them, I feel like they are fairly common raid drops whereas I've gotten 0 snipers so far.

I had one guy in a raid team try to claim the audio glitches were an intentional design because the Vex were distorting time/space... or something.

We all laughed at him.

I've heard of this one, but I haven't done the raid yet.

I thinks mine in called "The Calling". It's only original upgrade is some kind of explosive bullets which are completely useless.

Well at least I know I'm playing with a gentleman's weapon. It's unfortunate gentlemen are cursed to be shit in pvp.

I've had little voice for a bit. It is an awesome gun, but got it as my first rare engram so it isn't that powerful because I was the minimum level when you start getting blues (15 or 16 I think). I wish I could upgrade my existing gear instead of just planning to dump it once I get a legendary or exotic, but I will hold on to this one.

Happy Boomer I got today from the lvl 18 strike. Just unlocked the cluster bomb upgrade on it but haven't had a chance to use it yet, looking forward to what that does.
 
I just had the closest Crucible match that I've ever played.

Don't know why the scores are messed up, but it was like 10255 to 10115 at the end and since clash matches end at 10000 that was pretty crazy.

Good show Hawkian and Toasty.

You might be able to do it if you have good arc weapons.

Thankfully it isn't Devil's Lair again.

shit, this happened to me in the weekly strike tonight. I thought it was my av receiver.

You will want some higher levels with you, but honestly having a strong Arc weapon (especially ranged like sniper or scout) means more than a higher level.

The Elemental Burn buff is huge in nightfalls, and you can always play cautiously and keep your distance. At Lv 25 you won't be able to take any hits but a nice Arc weapon will still bring the pain.

Edit: As an example, I helped a 25 do the Nightfall earlier but I'm 30 and the other guy was 28.

yea it's fairly common in the raid and it was in the beta and even the alpha if i remember correctly. if you're seeing it in a strike though then the problem is more widespread. maybe that's why bungie hasn't patched it yet.

edit: i should mention that you still hear the music and dialog... lol
 
Finished the raid today with fellow gaffer YKERR (gratz on getting through it at level 26!!)

Had lots of fun and finally got my first purple primary weapon out of it (and a scout rifle too! Exactly what i was looking for).

is funny how the easiest strike on normal is still the most difficult on nightfall. gave us a hard time even with elemental burn and we had to play very smart. wasn't a simple case of hiding in one spot like the others

Don't know what level you are, but just grab the sword and run back to the door where you came into the room. Take your time, use the super and R2 attacks for AoE damage and fall back to the stairs as needed. Also fall back when the Princes get that red cloud around their head after you hit them or else they will bring the pain.
 
I just decrypted 19 rare engrams, I did not get a single legendary. I didn't even get a single level 20 item.

I'm calling MAJOR bullshit on them increasing the chances of getting a legendary from one.
 
Hard mode down! Vex Mythoclast get!

Just went 25 and 3 in rumble my first time testing it out. This thing is completely broken but I'm gonna abuse it til it gets banned or nerfed/

What level were you and the group you played with? Did everyone get the mythoclast or just you?

i got it, can't believe one of them quit out. i've never seen both end above 10000 like that either

good matches you guys. we made skirmish playlist look rather silly.

My problem is the part after he first moves. You have to leave the fort, that's when it gets real tricky. We beat it on level 28 weekly but nightfall is spanking us on that section.
