Is Falling Skies: The Game on the eShop right now?

I know its eShop only and the game came out yesterday on other systems

Wow, have you guys seen some of the pictures from the new Fatal Frame on the web? Can't share because they are heavily NSFW, but I'm surprised that something like that came out on a Nintendo platform.

Nothing against it, though, I'll let the purists on the game argue about that.

Senran Kagura yay or nay? $20 is a little pricey but Im tempted.
For $20, it's a decent beat-'em-up. 10 characters + 2 secret ones to unlock, each one with their own set of attacks, not to mention it's kind of fun to air juggle enemies. If you're the type that cares about frame rate, it can be a bit choppy at times (nowhere near as bad as Code of Princess, though), but it's still playable. It can seem a bit easy at times until you try Frantic Mode on each stage, where you're faster & stronger, but take much more damage.

I think $20 is the best price for it. I don't regret getting it for $30, but I think it feels more suited for the sales price.

Downloaded Armillo earlier and just played the first two levels. Really been going back and forth on this game for a while but based on early impressions I'm going to really enjoy it.

I saw this on GoNintendo today for 3DS eShop and I recognized it immediately.

It's a mini-RPG/puzzle game from Skipmore, who make cure little retro themed mini-games on iOS. This is probably their meatiest title, it's a little action RPG where with a puzzle slant (example, you progress by finding odd things in your surroundings like a patch of grass with a different pixel pattern or a tree with a different color trunk). There's also some item collecting and speed-running stuff in the game as well.

Looks like it'll be ¥300 (about $3) when it hits Japan.

All of their iOS stuff is released in English, so maybe they'll follow suit here too.

Really delighted to hear this. I have it but haven't gotten to play it much at all just yet.

I've been playing Armillo over the past couple days and I really like it but the framerate can be really bad at times. Otherwise, it's a pretty fun game.

Hmm.... Shantae and the Pirate's curse looks cool. I also want to get The Fall at some point this month. Wii U has too many games I want right now, between other stuff I want to buy I don't know how my money situation's gonna work out.

...explain.

If Shantae comes out with a B1G discount on Shantae GBC, will get on 3DS. If no discount on GBC, will buy on Wii U, I think. Like that 3-D, though, so, hmmm. We ever get confirmation if the Half-Genie Hero was a remake or a new game, by the way?

I'm just not used to see Nintendo get games with sexy stuff like that. Yes, I remember Samus with a bikini, and now Bayo, but it still surprises me.

dude, where have you been in the last 12 years?
i.e.:The gamecube version of "BMX XXX" has real stripper girls getting bare naked (instead of the PS2 version).

I got so many coins but no good rewards to use them on. I want better club nintendo game rewards on October 13th.

I want N64, GCN and DS VC to come out before xmas.

Daddy wants to play Twilight Princess, Baten Kaitos and Origins, and F-Zero GX.

Bayonetta 1 & 2 will keep me busy in October though.

Anyone know when Art of Balance Wii U will hit the US? Usually Americans get eShop games first due to the less complicated ratings systems, but this time it's the other way around. Just a little jelly 'cause EU has it now and we don't even have a hint of a date yet.

I have the Wiiware game, is this just an hd re-release?

No, it has more levels, online-multiplayer and more.

Sadly, the verification process for NA and EU are not the same. So it can take longer to get approved in one market than the other.

Have you seen some of the pictures from those Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat 2 game? Can't share because they are heavily NSFW, but I'm surprised that something like that came out on a Nintendo platform. What's this? Are we back in the early 1990s now? XD

Come on, there's been "NSFW content" on Nintendo platforms since way back when. NCL never really cared about it as long as it wasn't overly explicit. Heck, Metroid from 1986 has Samus in a bikini, just like the Fatal Frame 5 characters. Nintendo themselves primarily develop family games but they publish a very wide range of games in every color and style. Did you miss the Devil's Third trailer from E3 with a close up shot of a huge naked butt, aside from all the full-on gore? And it's not only explicitly visual content, there's some pretty dark themes in Nintendo published games all the time, like in Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower and Fatal Frame (which isn't only "on a Nintendo platform", it is also a first party game).

When it comes to third parties, they can do pretty much whatever they want as long as their game isn't Adults Only (just as with Sony and Microsoft). As soon as the ESRB was created in the early to mid 90s, even NOA stopped changing content in games. There are a lot of posts about Senran Kagura in this thread, have you seen this game? Fatal Frame 5 has nothing on Senran Kagura.

Nothing against it, though, I'll let the purists on the game argue about that.
Why are those purists ignoring the fact that the Fatal Frame series has always been about helpless girls in short skirts being scared by ghosts and that Fatal Frame 2 and 4 already had bikini and Zero Suit costumes?

I cannot find anything "heavily NSFW" in the latest Fatal Frame pics. All I found are the lingerie screenshots.
anyone?

Oh man, that takes me back. Did anyone ever play that game?

...anyone?

I even finished it. I didn't find it too bad and liked it better than Aggressive Inline

Captain Rainbow, a Wii game developed by skip and published by Nintendo in which you go to Birdo's house to prove she's a girl. The proof is a censored, vibratijng object you find under her bed's pillow.

LOL Shovel Knight, what a joke. I want the WiiU version but maybe I'll just grab it on Steam during Xmas. Can't believe we're still waiting. ><

Art of Balance is very funny, I love playing it with the wiimote. Bayo2 is a day one purchase, of course... I think that's it.

Why can't you just wait a few more weeks? They're in final submission/lotcheck right now.

Remember that the developer chose to make Europe wait by wanting a translation and deciding to not start getting this until the US version was done (which is a fair point as they really worked their socks off).

Still I can't see why an English version couldn't have been launched then patched the translations in later...unless NOE are so rigid that they make it impossible to add translations as updates.

Translations are done for Shovel Knight anyways, I expect Shovel Knight to be released next month?

And OMG, fricking finally. Shantae and the Pirates Curse.

I just beat that last week. It's actually pretty hard even. Compared to the first one, especially.

i missed all the magical baguettes so i never got the secret boss/ending.

also did a 4 player race on extra mode on dreamland 1 (also on my channel) and it's pretty damn hard. extra mode on dreamland 2 would be killer :<

Yeah I know, I'm totally cool with a little delay, the world doesn't revolve around me, shit happens etc etc. It's just too long man :( I think devs could manage to have a smaller delay if they wanted to. Can't say I'm thrilled to pay the full euro price (1$=1€ my ass) when I'm waiting since bloody June and I know how a steam sale works. I thought it was going to be a few weeks, not like this...

Kirby dream land 2 is great, but nothing will be super star ultra, if you haven't played it you definitely should.

never really got into it

preferred dreamland 3 tbh. super star just seemed to be a sort of mini game collection amongst some random kirby levels. idk man i must have not got very far

Armillo reminds me a lot of Sonic 3D Blast, which for me is a good thing

I was thinking the same thing.

Armillo feels like what Sonic 3D Blast should have been. The only thing that I feel holds Armillo back is a stronger art direction.

Otherwise, the game has a lot of interesting ideas in each level. Most people on Miiverse seem to really dig the game, too.

Wait for the Wii U version. Digger's Diary is an amazing feature.

Smash Bros update is live on the EU eShop. You can see it on the new releases tab; not the game page.

It also says ver 1.0 for some strange reason...I'm guessing ver 1.0.2 doesn't fit in the space...

So what's the verdict on Dracula X? Worth checking out if you're a CV fan? Or should I just stick with Rondo of Blood?
