I experienced a weird bug yesterday. I was at the Divide waiting for the Walker to spawn from Public Event. When he spawned I went to that house just across him and noticed a Spinmetal node. I grabbed it, kept shooting, turned around and the node came back. I grabbed it again waited a few seconds and it spawned again. After a few seconds it was there again, and again...I took maybe 20 Spinmetals from the same node and went to Orbit. No idea how many I could have taken.

Juju is all right. Small mag size, and recoil kind of sucks at first. Thorn, is also all right. Small mag size, reload speed isn't the best. I haven't unlocked the DOT yet, but I hear it's great in Crucible.

I don't own either, but I did my research and my conclusion is:

Both are great. Neither is a bad choice. I'll be going with The Devil You Know because 1) I want to spend my Crucible marks elsewhere, and 2) the vendor version has Crowd Control, a great mod
 
GAF, I have a confession to make.

I have sinned.

I have coveted my neighbor's Suros Regime.

I want that gun. Want it so badly. Every time I go 1 on 1 in PVP against SR wielder, if we start shooting at the same time, I'll lose 8/10 times (unless he misses most headshots and I hit almost every single one).

What's the easiest way to get Strange Coins so I can buy one? I know some people got this weapon as a reward in Crucible but I don't know what my chances are when it comes to RGN. I have 50+ people on my friends list, but it would take a lot of time to find even 2 that are available to play Weekly Heroic Strike at the same time (most people on my list (including me) have jobs, wives, kids, etc. so it's not easy for us to group up. Of course, Bungie's attitude towards matchmaking doesn't help, so just like in raids, they don't allow matchmaking in Weekly Heroics and that definitely sucks for people like me.

I have 7 strange coins, I think most of them came from decrypting engrams (got 2 yesterday after the patch, both came from blue engram, which was really surprising).

So, what's my best option for getting strange coins? Help this lustful man get his hands on the Suros Regime.

Do weekly on level 28. Bam 9 coins. Do dailys, bam possible coin. Do Strike playlist, bam possible coin. Do crucible.

At what level is the weekly heroic strike solo-friendly? I see that it's a lvl 22 event, so is soloing it possible at lvl 23-24?
 
So I crept through the Nightfall solo as a Level 27 Warpig and after an hour and with the boss only having a sliver left I fired the kill shot with my rocket launcher. Problem was an add with those huge shields jumped in front right as I was firing and we both blew up.

I literally just stared at the screen for 5 minutes in disbelief.
 
So is anyone else really missing a Wardrobe mod?

In high level weeklies, raids nightfalls etc elemental damage is very important. And it would really help if there was an easy way to save certain equipment loadouts and subclass specs for easy switching.

In other news i think i was dirt lucky yesterday. I was running the Sepiks bounty just when the patch went live. And wouldnt you know it, in the middle of the run i got a legendary engram. Now we know that all legendary engrams got demoted to blue engrams when the patch was applied. So i was hoping for it not booting me directly after the strike was done, but it did.

I logged back on and sure enough, it had turned blue. A little down i went to the cryptarch to see what i got, and i got THIS!

I dont even know how that is possible? I guess even though it got demoted to blue it still maintained the properties of a legendary engram?
 
FINALLY!

Just finished the raid 15 minutes ago. I swear we spent 7 hours failing over and over and over at Atheon over the last week. We had to restart after the reset this week, and got to the end quickly again, but made no progress until tonight.

I was getting frustrated with my team, because the relic team kept failing while we held it down outside. Then I took relic duty and was wrecking shit with the relic team, but the outside team kept dying or failing to clear the gates.

I chewed my fireteam out pretty good, as I'd had just about enough. I'm not even close to the best player in my clan, but I felt like I was holding up my end of the plan, while others were blowing it through carelessness. The plan isn't complicated. None of the individual jobs are particularly hard. I was at my end.

Finally, I gave the team leader the relic and went back to the outside. I fell in the put like a dumbass a few times, but I was able to coordinate the outside guys well enough that we finished the boss in two attempts.

My total haul for the raid was a Mida Multi Tool scout, Vision of Confluence scout, Found Verdict Shotty, a raid warlock bond and a ton of ascendant material. Not a bad haul at all. I'm now a raid expert. I'll be raiding regularly. I need raid gear, after all. PEACE.

Blues were given a higher chance to decode into Legendary and (I guess) above.

running vanguard tiger for engrams made me realize how terrible engrams are because, outside of exotics, the loot pool they draw from is the exact same as the one from vendors...

granted randomized perks seem to be a thing but bleh, the small loot pool really takes a lot of fun out of the loot game.

From the reward for completing the strikes? If so, dang, the RNG can be cruel. After 17 strikes the only legendary I seen as a completion reward (no purple engrams from drops either) was after the 15th strike for one of the randoms I was grouped with.

Yep, rewards, went from having only blue weapons to one purple in each slot in 3 hours, and yes, rngesus is a mean motherfucker.
