Just did a Tiger Strike.

Oh I bet you were popular!

And the last straw...

Last night I realized that all three factions take Crucible Marks for payment. So, if you play multiplayer, you have four legendary gun vendors at your disposal. Fucking four. But if you only play coop or single player, you only have one legendary gun vendor (and only if you preordered). Combine that with my one exotic bounty, which requires a +500 K/D in PVP with a specific element, and I'm done.

You can gain rep with the factions wherever vanguard rep is gained by wearing their class item, and buy crucible marks with resources.

Also, the Vanguard in its entirety is not preorder exclusive, only its little shop of rares for levels 5-15.

Soooo I've hit level 20 and I've finished the story.

Now what do I do?

Continue doing daily bounties and stuff to level up the rest of your character and sub-class.

Armor will start dropping for you that has a "light" characteristic. Armor with more light will raise your numerical level.

Idk why but I'm getting 99% rep bonus for Queen's bounties right now. Already 1/4 to rank 3. Pretty happy I'm gonna end up completing it but I'[m confused as to how its happening. 30% from the three items and another 20% from Nighhtfall doesn't add up.

And yes, its 99% not 100%. I get 199 rep for a 100 bounty, 149 for a 75 bounty, and 99 for a 50 bounty. Its very odd.

How much rep to get to rank 3? I'm at 1 with 2210 on the way to 2.

We at Bungie are very happy with the enthusiasm you have shown in playing our new game Destiny (tm)!

Thanks for beating our game, we hope to see you again for new adventures in the "Danger below" and "House of Wolves" expansions! Remember to buy the Destiny Season Pass (tm) now for huge savings on the expansions!

Well the above is a joke, but basically now you can continue playing to increase your characters level, get new items and maybe do the raid!

Gear treadmill with great combat to gear treadmill with terrible combat.

Whatever floats your ferry. :p

What a thoughtful post!

There is absolutely nothing "great" about the PVP in Destiny, and there isn't anything in the single player to set it apart either. If anything, it feels sluggish in comparison, and the aim assist is way too aggressive.

Also, Warframe isn't a treadmill for the same four guns over and over. It has tons of interesting characters, powers, weapons and companions, and it has modes other than "horde mode" and "fetch quest".

It also didn't cost me $90.

What do you mean? Now you can finally play the game.

I really like Warframe, but the overall gameplay in Destiny definitely feels higher quality and more well crafted than in it.

Definitely a great F2P title though.

I got Praedyth's Revenge after Templar

Impact is low. Clip is small.

"Enemies explode when killed with precision shot"
"This weapon deals extra damage to Oracles in Raid"

Meh overall. I already have a legendary sniper. I guess I'll put this on the shelf.

I'd give it a shot if I were you. It's my favorite sniper Rifle by far. The explosion on headshots deals splash damage if other opponents are near your target when they blow up.

Yeah I was just looking at that.

And the extra ammo upgrade puts 6 bullets in the magazine which is acceptable.

I'll start upgrading it.

Yup its a treadmill for blueprints and rare ressources which is sooo much better. Also you can't be serious with the rest of the quote... what characters? What powers? What modes? Anyway your opinion would be more popular in the hundred other shitting destiny threads in this forum me thinks.

Finally maxxed Gunslinger, and managed to unlock full auto mode on both vision of confluence and pocket infinity.

Um...pocket infinity is insane in full auto. I also have a magazine boost that takes it from 3 rounds to 8. Dispensing 8 fusion rounds in a second and a half? I thought the recharge time would be the same...it's not. It just jizzes 8 straight death rays in rapid succession. I said wow. I can't wait to unlock the stability node and see how well it handles with just 3 round mags, but less recoil.

The vision of confluence is nice in full-auto. It had a good rate of fire before. Not as nice as Mida Multi-Tool, but in full auto, it's like having an upgraded Suros with sick range and impact. Oh...and it's got solar damage too. I really wanted void, but any primary with elemental damage is awesome.

My work here is done. Time to finally go to bed. PEACE.

I actually use pocket infinity with the stability upgrade and 3 rounds. It's still very fun in full auto.

Fifth strike in a row and it's Mars. Bah I don't mind the mission but the boss is a pain in the ass.

What do you have equiped? With Queen's hood, robe, emblem and shader, I get 183 from 100. Since I'm still at rank 1 I can't get the bond yet.

I have basically everything queen related except the sniper rifle. So Class item, shader, icon, helmet, coat, and ship. Plus Nightfall bonus.

Idk how I'm supposed to math that, but I would assume 10% per each queen item (I thought only those first three did it though) plus 20% for Nightfall, but that would only come out to 80%. Where that extra 19 comes from I have no idea.

I hope Prism Dancer is worth it. This image makes it look like its gonna have a nice pattern to it rather then solid colors.

And that's fair. Like I said, no real beef with the core gameplay.

It's everything else that feels half baked or poorly thought out.

I never would have imagined that I'd like both Warframe and Borderlands more than Destiny, but right now, it's not even close. I'm a little salty right now, so I may come off as angry, but I'm really just bummed, because I thought this game would be right up my alley. But it's not. It's clearly for PVP guys with coop as an afterthought.

damn I didn't know the queen's wrath sniper rifle came in all three types, guess I'll try getting the other two. I first got a solar, but I already have a solar ice breaker so I didn't really care.

Both are a treadmill for different things and by characters he means the different Warframes that do basically act as different classes.

He isn't "shitting" on Destiny, he played it, he enjoyed it,now he had some experiences that soured his view of the game and has stopped playing it. This is absolutely fine. I repeat, this is fine. If you stop enjoying a game for reasons and you say "ok sorry I really don't like this, I am out" that is not "shitting on the game".

And honestly Warframe is EXACTLY the game I would go to from Destiny. I myself actually came from Warframe to Destiny. And when I am done with Destiny I will probably jump into Warframe again too, cause by then Archwings will be released and I'll be a god damn space ninja with a jetpack in space.

It's clearly for PVP guys with coop as an afterthought.

This doesn't reflect my 75 hours in the slightest.

The co-op experience has been on of the best I've had. Especially the raid. Warframe and Borderlands have nothing that comes close to that.

What do people think about Universal Remote? I got it from a raid chest last night. I haven't really used shotguns since the beginning of the game and don't do PvP.

I wish there was an option to exchange raid loot for like 10 MoL or something.

Well I have no idea how you really got that impression, especially my friend who i basically play the game with 90% of the time will tell you that he never plays PvP at all and he is lvl 29 and about to start the raid with me.
I myself only really spend time in PvP like once a day to get my XP bonus and I got my Bad Juju from playing Rumble for two days.

Now looking at my stats on Bungie.net though:
I have a total of 2d 23h played. Out of that I spent 7h 25m in the crucible.
I would hardly say that's a lot of PvP time in comparison to the rest I have done.

I paid my $90 and leveled a character to 27, which is where I hit the PVP wall, so I reserve the right to have an opinion about the game...and express it in this here relevant thread. Nobody is "shitting" on your game.

What characters? 25 of them, not including primes, with mods making for a far more interesting skill tree

What powers? 4 unique powers each, 100 total, emphasized at your discretion with mods.

What modes? Exterminate, Capture, Rescue, Interception, Spy, Defense, Mobile Defense, Excavation, Assassinate, Deception, Derilect Vaults, Nightmare, Quests...probably forgetting a few.

I just got the Thorn, that was ridiculously hard and grindy...

Mag size and Reload speed are atrocious, impact seems fairly low for a Hand Cannon...

That buff better be good, Bungie!

I have it half levelled and I really like it.

It's a decent shotgun, but being able to take a shotgun and your choice of special weapon is the real kick.
