I've really got to get around to doing the raid for the first time. I'll most likely be on after 5pm too if you're gonna need another. Maybe closer to 6.

Level 28 Warlock with Void/Sun maxed out.

I did only the last part of the Raid, got some drops, I know I'm locked out till next Tuesday
So all the parts I missed till last boss those chest/puzzles am I locked out of those?

Could I go in and get those or are they lost, because I finished the Raid?

Do you have the mobile app or can you hit bungie.net? you can see all the vendors' stocks. No blue fusion rifles at the moment.
How did your strike testing go? I was going to do them with you but looks like you had a good match made team you stuck with?

8 strikes, 15 blue engrams- haven't decrypted them yet. I wish we'd grouped! I did have a good group by chance, but they actually dropped and I soloed the last two strikes XD
 
My favorite weapons so far:

1. Vision of Confluence
- Full auto with solid fire rate and reload, combined with solar damage. This gun is the balls. I put it first because any primary with elemental is awesome. I wanted void, but you don't see me complaining right now. This thing will drop a flame shield in a shot or two, letting you rip through wizards like a hot knife through butter. Oh yeah, it also has a oracle perk and fires in full auto mode, at what feels like a slightly higher RoF. Sick!

2. The Comedian
- Hammer forged, with a bigger magazine that holds 7 rounds? Hell yeah. This is my crowd controller. In crucible, I pair this with my Universal Remote, and it gives me (the worst PvP player in the world) a fighting chance. I got two of these now. One with solar and another with arc. I want one with void because this has got to be a Minatour destroyer.

3. Mida Multi-Tool
- This will probably climb to second once I upgrade it. It has movement boost and the radar stays up. This has the highest rate of fire of any scout I've ever seen, Reload is maxxed too, which combined with my Sunbreakers + Comedian means I can dispense a ton of damage near and far in a blink of an eye. I'm a huge scout rifle fan, so this gun is tits.

If you have all 3 weapons equipped which aren't 100% upgraded the XP goes 3 ways. So I'm equipping 2 weapons which are fully upgraded along with 1 which isn't then all the XP goes to just the one gun allowing upgrades to come quicker.

I just tested this out on a brand new unused legendary scout rifle by turning in a 2500 exp bounty with it being the only unupgraded item in a slot and then turned in another 2500 exp bounty with another unupgraded weapon in a second slot and they both still recieved the same amount of exp. It did not split.

I think VoG is a great foundation for the kind of PvE content that needs to be in the game from this point on. Some things need to be fixed along with the bugs needing resolved, but so far, I'm happy with the raid itself.

I am kind of upset the heroic raid is basically the same as normal except harder without battle rezzing and having enemies scaled to level 30. I would've liked to keep the battle rezzes, or make them less available as they are when you have to wait 30 seconds for a revive. I kind of expected the mechanics to be different. Examples of higher difficulties in raids I've played involve roles to be switched regularly or dodging new attacks that can one-shot.

I pictured a traditional 'hard mode' mechanic added to VoG involving the relic. Imagine playing heroic and anyone with the relic could only hold it for 30 seconds before dying. Or imagine if the oracles were different colors and everyone was given a 'color buff', meaning they were the only ones who could do damage to the oracle that shared their same color.

I don't think I'm sadistic enjoying mechanics like that since I've come to expect them from raids. I'd like to see what Bungie has in store since the sky is the limit.
 
Just decrypted about 20 blues I got from playing about 7 strikes and got one legendary, a strange coin, few motes of light, and a ton of useless blues. Though I did level up my cryptarch and got a legendary from that as well. Both are being dismantled for some more ass shards :)

Need to level up some stuff and have some more gun collecting todo but I'm very happy with the entertainment value this game has provided me so far. Can't wait for the Iron Banner.

Yes sir, that app is a godsend for checking the shop but I can't have my cell with me at work. I appreciate you answering the question! I'll probably bug you guys each weekday for the 10am update until I get it..

I actually sent you a message about joining and figured you had a good group since I didn't hear back, I totally would have joined you! I was just doing Queen missions to get a chest and helmet for a potential second character at that point.

Haha I know, but think about it: the fight is the same as it is in normal. We just cheesed it in heroic because fuck being swarmed by level 30 enemies while being sniped.

If we were all level 30, we probably could've stayed on the ground and did it the regular way.

Or how about a fight against the last boss the randomly teleports 3 players so that everyone needs to know how to do all roles?

Thanks. I figured it out. Currently I'm just 4 lights away from lvl 29 and the last two upgrades on my helm would give me those 4 lights. I think I probably will just do it. I know I will eventually replace it with raid gear, but it's only 12 ass shards. Not a big deal.

I know the 30 sec revive timer is absent, but do the sunbro revives work on hard?

Yeah I've done the normal raid too, so my spot is up for grabs too. I'll help you guys if I'm on and you can't find people though.
