I hate how almost every high level of every class looks the same.

There really isn't much armor in Destiny. Or rather so much of it is almost identical maybe?

And need more shaders.

I hate how the dead orbit and new monarchy armor is the same come on seriously, lazy much?

xyor solo is going good so far. fatebringer wrecks everything and i have reached phogoth with little trouble.

do i just try my luck dodging shrek and co for 10 minutes until he spawns?

Can anyone tell me what the minimum amount of Shards is in order to hit Level 28 with all normal Legendary's and an Exotic piece?

Maxed out Exotic and other pieces upgraded towards the first where you have to use Shards I think.

I dunno how much that is, 24?

They can't be happy with the story that shipped.
it's barely there. I'd go as far as to say that you're right they can't be happy with it- not because of its quality but because it's so close to not even existing.

I grant you it beats Titanfall's campaign.

I'll be damned if Xur pops up with gear tomorrow as good as what he had last week.

Ha if he has Icebreaker I'll probably quit the game. Hand out the 2 best weapons on consecutive weeks? Come on now

Patience and Time would be worse for pvp though. That'd get uglier than suros pvp fest.

It eats other players in PvP.

Feels like cheating in pvp.

it's a goddamn corpse generator in the crucible.

Hunters will always be welcome in my raids :>

It's pure filth. Will make it very hard for you to equip any other exotic weapon on any of the smaller or mid-size maps.

Delicious! Muhahahaha.
I detest crucible though so you dont have to worry about me guys.

God I forgot that thing. That game didn't need a campaign at all considering what was put in the game.

maybe about 20 or more. I used 8 for my exotic and I'm about 3/4's to lvl 28. the rest of my legendary I used none. ok ok, 3/5's to lvl28. :(

We're fine in raids. Supportive abilities are nice and all, but bringing a player that knows how to avoid damage and kill what needs to be killed at the time required is most important. I haven't been denied a raid spot by reason of me playing a hunter once. The most this would matter would be the first week of raiding brand new content and world firsts. It's very similar to arguments for bringing certain classes in WoW over others. There's a time when you're geared enough though that the classes you bring won't make or break your group's success.

That being said, we could use something to talent into that supports the raid like Titans/Warlock have.
Hunter is fine for normal raid.

It is not useful in hard raid... it is like in the normal the Sunsingers/Titans abilities are helpful but not required... in hard they are required.

People farming rather than doing the strike they're on can suck my ass.

Never seen that. Only annoyance is people quitting at the start.

It's awfully rare for someone else to join later too so you're stuck.

Did an epic 2 man of the Moon strike though.

these are the things that make the game great to play.

Jumped into a friends weekly heroic earlier, they were about half way through, got to the end boss about 2/3 though his health and I hear, guardian down, few seconds later guardian down, big flashy message on my screen saying last guardian standing, no pressure.

Needless to say I got round the boss and his minions intact, revived one who ran and revived the other and despatched the boss followed by a celebratory dance.

Only other game that's made my heart pound like that is EVE.

I've done it in hard, and you're not going to hold your group behind by being a hunter. That being said, you can't cover for mistakes made by others by being a hunter. You also need to be more careful yourself since you don't have as many defensive abilities. The support abilities help for sure, but they aren't required.\

Edit: I'm not saying other classes aren't more useful. I just don't want people quitting their Hunter, which may be their preferred class, out of fear that they won't be able to raid on normal/hard.

I think some do this because they've done the same strike in the last run, and don't want to repeat it. I did Winter's Run (via Vanguard Tiger) with two randoms, and it came up again in the next strike. The two randoms went back to orbit immediately.

You did it using a hunter?

So after switching from suros to galahade-e, I went on a tear and from 4th place to 1st place in clash...holy shit that was awesome. Seems I better upgrade that thing for pvp.

Ey, the online only structure of this game plus the PSN together is the definition of a clusterfuck. Our strike just ended because of some server problem in Destiny and then we couldn't even send each other messages because of the lame PSN speed. What the fuck is this? It seriously takes me several minutes to load a single message. Is this a bad joke or something?

Is crucible turning into a utter lag fest for any else? 2 second delays in deaths, enemies mowing you down with little visual warning/effect, and jankiness galore?

This can't be on dedicated servers. I wish developers would stop allowing the 2000ms idiots into online games. Fix yo shit or GTFO.

You need 21 shards to fully level up an exotic iirc, and if you level up your normal legendary's to before you need shards you'll hit level 27 and a half, normal legendary's need 18 shards to max out so I think 33-39 shards is needed at the absolute minimum to hit 28.

I've upgraded the Helm of Inmost Light all the way to its +30 light potential. It suits my Striker PvP build quite nicely too.

That said, the Insurmountable Skullfort is possibly the coolest piece of gear I've seen in the game so far. If Xur stocks it I'll ditch my light horns and rock that Daft Punk goodness forever.

I missed out on the Suros this weekend because I was short on coins :( I've got 31 now but I guess it'll take some weeks before he brings an Exotic Auto Rifle again, which is depressing.

It was super bad in one match I played last weekend. I stuck a guy with a grenade and he died from it 3 minutes later.

Unfortunately by the time you hear the fusion rifle charge you're already dead.

Should have been released as a dive-in multiplayer-only shooter without the pretense of a campaign/storyline, for about $35. Could have really shaken up the industry.
Ha thanks... this is "Lets Make Hunters Feel Like Total Liabilities" Day.
I'm keeping my head up :3 One thing I can say for Destiny, and maybe the best compliment I can pay it: skill wins out.

Psn has been a laggy shitfest for me ever since destiny launched. Destiny has been fine just psn.

Tbh: Any Warlock going into the Raid using Sunsinger is a chicken shit and less effective too---especially on the final boss.

It's a million more times useful to get into the Vault if you can drop Nova Bomb on Minotaurs, and when you do the templar it's a great super for saving you from the Pretorian Minotaurs as well if things get jam packed.

Yeah it's nice you can revive yourself...but stop dying to begin with. Once that's taken away you have a useless super that just sits there you don't burn.

On the boss it's amazing in Raid to drop a Nova bomb right away on any harpy's left over by a gate so everyone can pump the boss easy, then you too can sling a few more supers the bosses away which add up to good damage.

Sunsinger sucks in PvP IMO, but that's debatable.

I'll take a Hunter over a Lock any day just for Golden Gun.....but Titan my Titan is the bomb diggity fresh as far as PvE content. Dem over shields. <3

I agree with what you're saying. Honestly as someone that mains a Hunter at level 29, we are not as useful as Sunsingers or Defender Titans. Imo there's not really a huge point in denying that. Admitting it means that we can at least bring some attention to it and hopefully have patched in some more useful abilities/talents. We're good at taking things down quickly as gunslingers, but it isn't as useful as some of the kit that the other classes can bring. We definitely need at least one good support ability.

What is your gunslinger load out for the higher-up PvE content? I am about to hit 28 and start up all the raid stuff. Just curious as to how you're handling it.
