They really need to implement some kind of auction system or at the VERY LEAST some trade functionality into this game.

As it stands, some people have all right gear and some people have none.,

Pretty unsatisfactory.

Game doesn't even have an open chat function. Games should never have shipped without one.

One of these days I would love to meet up with you Hawk and perhaps get hand held through the Raid for the first time? PSN = silkysm00th i'll throw you an invite tonight when I get home and start harassing you on my weekends. (sunday-tuesday) and late at night every night forever....

So this is what the person in the reddit thread is claiming:

1st chest - Ascendant materials one that you can't miss.
2nd chest - Spirit Bloom chest in Templar room after you kill him (although some say they've gotten ascendant mats from it as well).
3rd chest (potentially new chest) - Along the path from the Spirit Bloom chest room that leads to Gorgon cave. This chest apparently has ascendant materials/legendaries/exotics.
4th chest - First Gorgon cave chest that has ascendant materials/legendaries/exotics.
5th chest - Second Gorgon cave chest that only has ascendant materials.

Apparently other people in that reddit thread said they found the room this guy's talking about, but the chest wasn't there for them. I'm thinking that either A) this dude is lying or B) this chest is on a timer before it despawns or it can spawn in multiple places.

So am I alone in this or is the PSN just flat out not working for anyone? I can play, but friend functions are just not working.

Edit: The above says I'm not. What an annoyance.
 
Remember you can work around the FR issue by creating a chat party, inviting people to that, then joining the fire team leader by:

- clicking on their name in the party
- pressing options
- selecting 'join session'

Let me ask a question about the Nightfall, what kinds of rewards does it give?

It doesn't give the Strange Coins, am I right? I believe it has special rewards?

It's probably as worth it as a cape, a bond, a mark, an emblem, or a ship.

I'm going to upgrade mine at some point.

Took Vanguard to rank 7, rushed to postmaster - single strange coin. bah.

Saw a fellow DestinyGAF EU5er randomly in tower earlier, ps-3-po I think the name was. I waved!
 
I wish there were bounties for exotic armors too, and more bounties for exotic weapons overall : only 6 exotic bounties mean all the rest are up to crazy random RNG or just sitting idling in the crucible and get Last Word being fith in a team of 6 afk players

I imagine it makes the most sense for you to create the party chat since you're the one everyone will have on their friends list. If I'm on before you, shoot me a party invite when you create it. I'll probably hop on in a few and start working on bounties\queen quest\heroic daily.
 
I'm struggling trying to get 3 coins I. Time for tomorrow:/ need 23 just in case he has a weapon I like, such as hard light, Monte Carlo or icebreaker.


But I have 30 motes lol
