Red Death for PvE, Fair and Square for PvP. Love them both just Fair and Square is the better PvP weapon by far.Red Death vs Fair and Square.. is it a lot better, or marginally better?
Templar fight is doable, I'm talking about the entrance. Lol.
I don't understand why you guys wouldn't want to kill everything, more chance of a Legendary drop or something.
Lol.
I am glad though that Xur is selling a weapon that nobody is going to use this time
Go on....
Red Death is too slow for PvP, especially following the SUROS Regime.
For anyone using destinypublicevents.com while out touring events on Earth, I'm finding the Forgotten Shore one consistently 5 minutes and some seconds later than advertised. There are often a few guys hanging around who head off on their sparrows after 3 or 4 minutes past the given time, it's worth hanging on until the very last minute before you dash off to the next.
Maybe for some. Any weapon could be lethal in the right hands.

Thanks!
So is the Weapons buff completely negated in PVP or are its effects merely negligible?
Absolutely, but I do agree with him. The rate of fire is just too slow to compete with auto rifles. It doesn't hit hard enough to compensate for it's slow RoF. It remains to be seen how it will perform in the Iron Banner. It could be a real beast there.Maybe for some. Any weapon could be lethal in the right hands.

Haven't done the daily yet. Wish me luck!Nice. A legendary helm engram from my daily today.

Because I'm usually running a strike with purpose and I just want to get it done. Right now I'm doing Toland's Legacy, so there's no way I'm gonna kill everything every single time. I just want this shit done.I don't understand why you guys wouldn't want to kill everything, more chance of a Legendary drop or something.
Lol.
I bought the exotic engram and got the fucking helmet from the first week, with the light shining out. Fucking ugly. And a helmet engram and helmets suck. Give me leg/gauntlet
engrams Bungie. I am bored to tears of the randomness of this game, not working out for me. Im such a masochist to want to continue playing.
Once I've done the raid I'll be satisfied I reckon.
What is everyone's opinion on Sun Singer gloves? I have some coins to burn.

Suros is just...ugh. I hate that gun with a passion.
It really needs a nerf to its impact.

Public event rewards can be any combination of motes of light, strange coins, or ascendant mats. There is a strange coin in one of the golden chests on Mars, if you haven't gotten that. Otherwise, your best bet is to decode as many engrams as you can and hope one of them produces a coin. My advice would be to run the Vanguard Tiger playlist for a couple of hours and see if you get lucky. You have until Saturday night 2 AM PST.I read that you get a strange coin for the first gold tier event you complete every day, but I got ascendant energy instead.
Am I not going to get one today from them or is it still possible? I only need one coin.

I've leveled up vanguard to 5 and crucible to level 3, so I feel like I should just start doing one of the factions.
Anyone have thoughts on this?
I know you get guaranteed legendaries every time you level up past 3, but I feel it would be better to have a wider selection of weapons and gear to choose from
Nope. the patch could shake up the balance quite a bit. That being said, the Red Death still gets bested in it's own class. For instance, the "Fair and Square" another burst rifle. Not only does the Fair and Square have a higher RoF, it also hits very hard. You can kill someone in two bursts if you land head shots. So a AR nerf isn't going to make the Red Death shine.Have AR been nerfed yet?

Does xur ever sell exotic weapon engryms, or just gear? First week that I've had enough motes to gamble for anything and I would rather save it for a weapon.

No the Red Death is a monster in PvE, love the gun. Reminds me of the BR from Halo. In PvP it's not great. My timing lol, this right before my post. Thanks for the input, so red death not worth it?
Wait till next week & pray for SUROS to appear again?
Anyone wants to do the Weekly Heroic Strike (Level 28) with me today?
Or beat the final boss of the Raid?
Console: PS4
