When I first started playing I thought I'd never get an exotic. Now I have 11. 14 if you count the one I dismantled and the ones that weren't for my class.

I use Sunbreakers and I will change it for the chest in no time...
Each Exotic have a unique feature that fits with you play style or sub-class... so it is not like you will use the same than others guys or you won't get another Exotic better than that you have.

Queen's missions for legendary helmet and chest. Vanguard, crucible, factions, Xur for the other 2 pieces.
Most of the farming is tedious. They should be giving those mats out when you complete missions and strikes on those particular planets.
I think it's because you can literally play endgame at the moment without even having visited Mars.
It took a long time before I had to do a Mars quest. I had hit 20 on Venus and got all the way up to 24 before I actually finished the campaign.
Yup, It makes people rotate between Legendaries and exotics.

I puke a little when people say Exotics are too common, considering I've been playing daily since launch, am level 28 and have yet to see an Exotic or Exotic bounty(outside of the ones you can buy from Xur).

My exotic is my primary weapon. And one mission per week is pathetic, frankly. Also even blues do stupid damage with those modifiers, making exotics pointless.
Level up any of the factions to rank 2 and buy legendary legs and arms from them. Do the Queen missions to get legendary helm and chest. Then run around the moon to get helium to level up that gear to get to 27.
I am a 27 and still have not finished the campaign. The only reason I went to Mars at all is because I started getting armor/weapons that require relic iron. I think I did the first mission.
That's what I mean though. Before accepting a "Play Destiny!", I always go through my friends list to see what they are doing and with whom. It's good to know that everyone doesn't think this way though. It makes more sense now that some people don't join my in orbit, an then go to someone else's in orbit and go play control. I'm sitting there like...I would have played control. I'm in orbit sending a request, I'm up for whatever.
My biggest problem is the party chat, am I just so out of it or what? do you have to set up the party chat then go set up the invites and fireteam? why cant I just talk to whoever has a mic aaaahhh!!! wtf technology! also I try to find out what lvl people are before I except an invite depending on what I feel like doing.

Finally got a chanc to play the vault last night with some Gaffers. It was awesome! I wish they employed some of the gameplay mechanics into the regular game. I also cry bullshit from Bungie on the "you can only play this with your friends" crap. Yes you do need coordination but I if they allowed chat with randoms on fireteams it could be figured out. Its not that complex. smh.

I like being forced to choose. I have a dozen different load outs, I'd have less if I could stack exotics.

I finally got enough marks to buy something, but my vanguard vendor is still only level 1.
When I put on the new monarchy cape, did that stop the leveling of the vanguard guy?

I would assume it's because every player, regardless of level, can work on the bounties with the Fallen and Hive. Both are on Earth.

Does anyone else have an issue when they start the game on XB1 where you can't hear the audio of the game? Sometimes the only way to hear it is I have to start a party.

I am kind of in the opposite boat as you. I'm rolling in exotics, The last word, Suros Regime, Thorn, Invective, Pocket Infinity, Thunderlord, Insurmountable skullfort, Sunbreakers, knucklehead radar, Light beyond nemesis. But I got my first legendary primary weapon yesterday from a vanguard level up reward and I don't quite have enough marks to just buy a primary that I want from a vendor.

Finally beat the Raid on hard (sorry guys for dying so often against Atheon!) an all I got was a Legendary ship and some Ass shards
