I like Crucible also, but they really do need to expand on the offerings a bit. Some new playlists would go pretty far in spicing things up.
And a no-supers mode would be so cool. It just seems like a no-brainer.

Yep I hated it every step of the way until the upgrade. I'm still not that fond of it though, so I'm trying to grind out some strange coins for Red Death before Xur leaves.

So is there any way to get queen rep other than her daily bounties? I'm doing them with her emblem, shader, and class item equipped, with the nightfall bonus. I'm gonna be like 300 rep from rank 3 today, unless there's something else I can do for some rep.

I have'nt noticed it. I get level 18 - 20 blue drops just doing patrols. In fact I've done lvl 20+ missions and got greens and blues and sometimes nothing. I just do them in bounties. I can't see the point in re-doing missions at higher lvls.
Got the Exotic Machine Gun Super Good Advice from the bounty A Voice in the Wilderness. Piss easy to do. Why can't they all be like that?
Hmm. Is Red Death good? I am 2 strange coins away but I'm hesitant on getting a Pulse Rifle. Hmmm.
The Juju is apparently a bit weak in its current state even when fully upgraded (buff incoming and the weapon does have potential), but even some of the (considered) best Exotics such as The Last Word feel a little average until you upgrade them.
I'm definitely going to try all the ones I have at full power (energy dmg mods aside of course) before I draw any lasting conclusions.
I hope they make those kinds of pvp additions free upgrades too. Please, Bungie, have some sense.

I'm pretty sure the tank won't go down without clearing all four legs. I'v had him down to a millimeter, and doing some pretty good damage, but he just won't die no matter how much you pound on him. With the Devil Walker, the legs help revel the weak spot to get him down faster, but with a sliver of health, you can just get him with a 'nade. I don't think the tank works like that.

About 8 hours of marathon Crucible to level up my alt from lvl 3 to this..
Was way more enjoyable than drudging through that awful campaign again. Now off to find a better cape..

pretty much one of my problems.
have leg armour and only rare weapons(not even lvl 20 no less!)
get lots of energy and no shards!!!

I stopped playing last night because of the same problems. It's so annoying consistantly being the best player, but your team is still trailing by almost half the points.

I was sick of waiting so I bought 2 Exotics from Xur and 1 Legendary from Vanguard also got 2 legendary from The Raid and I dismantled them all. Gave me enough Shards to upgrade everything apart from my Exotic helmet which needs 16 Shards for the last 2 defense upgrades.

Agreed. Want to do the weekly heroic strike (Level 22) and can never find anyone to do it with.
My friends and I did it with a total of 3 and it. Was. Hell.
I actually think Hunters are objectively worse than the other clases in pve right now (only because their supers at higher levels become much less useful).
In pvp they're all quite balanced.

also if Bungie only had put some kind of chat system in the Tower, looking for raids/strikes shouldn't be a problem, look at DCUO for instance, I can easily go into raids anytime during the week by just by staying by the headquarters
If they want to avoid the griefing issues that full chat brings, then a flag for each activity "looking for raid" "looking for nightfall" "looking for patrol" etc... could be implemented, then a simple search system to look for flagged players.
Something like this would make a massive difference.

Matchmaking works best with mindless events due to the nature of random players so I can understand why it's not in nightfall and such, but to not have a system to make a party with people knowing you want to do a nightfall or raid is beyond silly in a game like this.

Question, if someone wasn't able to finish the raid, could they join a fresh leader to go get loot from the last boss they missed? Also can people who've finished for the week join the group just to help?

The loot cave was great. You could park an alt there and just watch the XP bar fill (quickly). You may want to see if there is a new loot cave. Might not be as fast, but still good.

I know that a lot of this is random, but I got mine after turning in a bounty during a week of doing a whole lot of bounties for the queen/vanguards. Maybe doing more bounties increases your chances of an exotic one "popping? "

I have over 5 days played and just now got my first exotic bounty after only turning in one bounty.
I'd say its random.

They pop when you hand in a bounty. So the more you do the more chances you get.

I am doing that one now, and I think only kills (and assists?) count towards the bounty; and even then it is weighted so that Warlocks give more points than their colleagues. Points from salvage, control points, etc should not count towards the 10K you need.

The good thing about doing story missions to level up an alt is that the postmaster gives you extra bounties that are usually pretty easy.
