So as a kid, we were pretty poor. McDonald's was a gourmet meal for me. During that time, I LOVED Transformers. Unfortunately, I could not afford any. When I first saw Devastator, I thought he was the coolest thing in the world. 30 years later, that love is still there. I happened upon an awesome TFC Hercules set I'd like to share with all of you!

Share your precious toys!

As a kid I was never really entertained by typical toys. I always felt like they were tedious, so I always preferred something like my SNES.

However, I remember having an action figure that I got from KB Toys because my neighbor told me to get it. It was like a robot/android/humanoid, and it had "POLICE" on the sides, but I don't remember what series or it was from. It resembled something that would be in an anime.

Exo Squad. All of them. and the X-men toybiz figures. I had shitloads of those things. Basically was what any spending money I came accross went into (ninja turtles when I was younger too). Still have a bunch in my parent's garage no doubt.

I got that Predaking.

My mom would always screw up the other giants so I got some freak hybrid of Stuntacons, Protectobots, and Combaticons forming some one-armed monstrosity.

I had Metroplex and broke him before I even finished the stickers. That bastard was on layaway for years. Also had Omega Supreme but he couldn't transform worth a shit.

I would always circle that GI Joe aircraft carrier in the sears catalog every Christmas. I think my parents must have thought I was delusional.

Batman, Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters toys were my shit growing up.
Batman I had every vehicle and Batcave all the way up to "The Batman" cartoon.

GI Joe I also liked but only had some, actually started collecting Joe once I became an adult.

Oh man. I don't post much, but this. This is me. I've been repurchasing all the toys I had and wanted as a kid. Let me show some!

i had that blue he-man guy -- the one that you twist and his neck goes up...

i never knew his name. i actually didn't even know he was from he-man really for sure until now. i think i saw him on one episode of a cartoon and i guess that it was he-man.

It is so weird seeing a picture of some old shitty toy that I haven't thought about in decades and having these weird, dredged up, residual feelings of "I want that".

On the theme of 'things from my childhood that I want to buy as an adult,' I'm really trying to find a good deal on a Urkel doll and a wisecrackin' Alf doll.

But I'd rather they were just reissued kinda like the Megazord and Dragonzord were.

Had them all. They were the SHIT.

These and those small electric Jeeps were some of my most desired toys. Never got any of them :(

My power rangers stuff was rad though. I really liked the action figures because they had joints that allowed you to bend their knees and arms, could put them into prime fighting poses. If you pressed their belt buckles, it would switch between their helmet/mask and their actual faces.

These big rubber mofos! WWF LJN wrasslin figs.

They dominated my playtime as a youngster. I didn't play with much else other than these, Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars, or building blocks.

My brother and I had most of them, the ring, and the steel cage accessory. I kept playing with them after the Hasbro figs started coming out because they were pretty small and lousy for playing with. They look cool in their packaging though, I'll give them that. I love the super large studio photo of each guy on the front.

You own Devastator, but you don't know Predaking? The black Liger is from Zoids. I'm not even a fan of it, my dad picked it up for me one day after work cause they were super cheap. I kept it cause it was awesome.

He looked familiar but I didn't remember the name ;)

I loved Transformers as a kid, still do, here's some of my collection, mostly Optimus Prime.

And, yes, I know I need to dust.

Feel pretty confident calling Beast Wars the coolest toys ever made. I had to go out and rebuy some of the ones I had when I was a kid. They had quadrupled in price.

^that's one hella collection of pics for just one toy, op

my parents used to spoil me as a child, so I got all the '80s best. Masters of the Universe, Voltron, Transformers, Marshall Bravestarr, Lego, Playmobil, RC cars...you name it. My most precious toy, however, was the Forestmen' Lego set

you can not imagine how many hours, days, months I spent playing with this shit. It was awesome!

Jesus. I'm amazed by the original post. Transformers can get pretty complex. I've always liked legos, so I want to get into that.

Not too long ago I was so excited to buy my daughter a little Mermaid lego set. I had fun putting it together with her (and then playing with it with her lol). She's into ninja turtles so I'm going to get her some action figures.

My current toys are just my video game systems and my car.

Wowsers! First I see Food Fighters, then Army Ants, then the Battle Beasts. You have the more obscure toys I owned and wasn't expecting to see.

Also, what fast food chain gave those Muppet Babies? I keep thinking Wendy's, as they gave some great toys, but my memory may be failing me.

Aw, man, the memories. I had (and loved) that set also.
