It's also good we now have a few legitimate strategies against the hardest parts of the game now. Props to Todd coming up with an idea for making the final boss on hard work with one defender titan. I was skeptical at first, but then I realized when I cleared hard mode, I had multiple titans.
Defenders are MVP.
You are MVP.
Now all you need is more Exotic armour pieces and Raid gear and Boom-Presto you're Level 30.

I love the DOT on the Thorn in Crucible, but I kind of wish each shot refreshed the DOT.

I don't see why it shouldn't refresh. Regardless, while I don't like the weapon so much for PVE, since the DoT is kind of weak, I'm loving it in PVP.
I feel like the Harpies figured out what we were doing cause I had many coming after me. At one point, I thought I was a goner if not fr the fact I made it to where the other two guys were at for them to kill the three Harpies chasing me.

I should have bought Crest of Alpha Lupi when I had the chance. I could always max out the No Backup Plans gauntlets now that I replaced my maxed out Exotic helm for Raid helm but then my grenade cool down would take a hit since both raid helm and No Backup Plans only decreases the melee cool down.
Isn't the gun already a 3 hit kill in PVP? If the DoT refreshed every shot, you'd probably get a postmortem on anyone you shot twice.

Das a nice helm, I like that helm.
Also makes me wish we could customise helmets a little. Like, I'd love that helm, but without the rear goblin fin, and the queen's helm antennae instead. That'd be rad.
Pls Bungie. More vault space, adds have a (reasonable) chance to drop planetary mats, customisable armour (even just helms to start with), transmogrification.
Transmog wouldn't even really need to be a thing if we had the option to customise armour further.

The only thing keeping me is the raid, good gameplay, and awesome people to play with. Other wise this game leaves much to be desired. The DLCs better be the best thing ever.

Indeed, nice job guys! And was I really that good? Is the shield really that hard to do good with? I felt like I was doing normal.

Same. Seemed like everything was going against with the glitches and the oracles bs. I'm actually looking forward to doing it again next week.
It's only as hard as lag and that minotaur.
Also, being level 29 using it sucks when all the enemies are level 30, but you get used to it.

Hey guys, question. I started the raid a few days ago and got all the way to Atheon. On the Destiny app it shows 3/4 squares as being fulfilled.
The group I was with subsequently finished it without me (I couldn't meet the agreed time). Do I still carry the save up to that point or would I be starting again if I found a new group?

Considering time commitments, we should probably rethink what we want to do on a weekly basis concerning raids. Do we really need to be doing normal now?
