The strategy involved the Relic team's Relic Holder passing the relic over to one of the defenders outside once the last Oracle fell. Everyone would huddle up in the middle platform, shoot Athean and around 4 seconds, the Titan Defender (me) would throw down a Blessing of Light Bubble shield. Since one of the defenders held the Relic, the Relic team was free to jump back while the defending team stayed on the middle platform. Because of Blessing of Light, everyone would have an overshield, making it a bit harder for Harpies and other Vex to kill you. And with defenders together, it made getting rid of the Templar bubble much easier.

Ah. I'd have to see it in action to really get a feel for it. As an side, if there's a striker titan on the defender team, he can use his super to one hit everyone's detain off. I tried that in one of the groups that ended up failing.
That shouldn't really be a problem at all if you're on a pillar.

Imagine if we all managed to get it in the next few weeks. We should set up an Iron Banner team.
I got so lucky. After I got that bounty I thought itd take me forever but I had my best matches ever. After 1 round of control I had 20/25. Second game, only went up to 22/25. Third game, boom. I was in the zone, for my highest scores ever. The magic is gone now but I have Invective

Seriously though, that was super fun. (Even though the final boss glitched up like a billion times) Thanks to my awesome fire team for being champs!

I'm interested in setting up a regularly occurring raid group, myself. My PSN is SharkJAW and the PSN isn't cooperating but I'll try and send you a message.So is anyone interested in recruiting me for their heroic raid group? I have beat it last week but have been struggling to complete it this week. I have a couple of good players on my friends list but they are 27-28. I've also been having mixed results with randoms from reddit who often times are either clueless or quit after a couple of attempts.
I've played with some good players from here like Namikaze and a Bol-Evilsplinter but they all kind of got their own groups going so it was a once or twice thing. I'd really like to get a regular group going.
I have a level 30 hunter with a good weapon selection to fit any raid situation. I also have a level 27 warlock and will be leveling a titan to do normal raids and nightfalls with.

That doesn't make any sense. In what impossibly extreme circumstances would you ever get that to happen? Most matches barely have the required classes on the other team, let alone all in one place.

ok, I got a question regarding crucible. It says that lvl isn't counted, so what exactly counts towards crucible? Is everyone's defense and attack rating for wpns the same?
I'm asking because there are times where I get one shotted by people using either a fusion rifle or shotgun(from farther than point blank at that) and yet I can never do the same to others even if I get a headshot(I have the 'devil you know' handcannon). I've gotten hits with my shotgun at point blank and it takes at least two hits to kill a person, yet I've been one shotted by lvl 11's....its sorta frustrating.

Play lots of control and you'll get it. When I got it the trophy rarity was at 1%, now it's at 20%. It's really just blind luck, but you're bound to get it on a mode like control where everyone is forced into one spot. All 3 classes are more than capable of doing it with their specials.

Well, I'm off to bed. I accomplished what I set out to do today. And finally, I got a Raid Armor after 4 normal raids, and getting nothing but Ass shards and Energy throughout the hard mode phases.
Tomorrow, gonna spend a few hours doing bounties to level up my new gear and then it's off to Mordor.

Guardian Defense and Weapon Attack ratings are normalized -- actual stats of the weapon aren't so if a dude has a fusion rifle with a lot of range on it...then he's kill you from far away. Weapon upgrades matter (kills with this weapon restore melee energy for example.) As do the upgrades on your armor as well as your discipline, strength and intellect ratings.
Shotguns are just kind of fucked up right now, they have a lot of range. You don't need to be anywhere near point blank range to one shot someone. And again, if a dude has a shotgun with a longer range rating then he is going kill you from farther away.

or is it 2-3-3 on raid sets? that would equal 8.
