What class are you?
Keep in mind that the Titan Defender melee and grenades count as void kills, same with Warlock Voidwalker.
Bring a void shotgun and machine gun, go nuts in Crucible. Took me like 8 matches to complete.

My personal is The Summoning Pit. I blow through that thing in 6-7 minutes. The only spot you have to wait is when the Ghost is decoding the runes, but I've done it so many times I know which doors the enemies are coming out when, and I blast through that spot in no time. I tried the Nexus, but it was way slow compared to The Summoning Pits.

happened to me earlier, guy just stayed out in the rocketyard, i thought he was afk but when me and the other guy finished the strike he had 70 kills

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's Phobos. Bungie showed it off in some of the prerelease footage I believe. I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up in the first DLC.

I really don't understand how to use a shotty in PvP. I always lose the head to head battles.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of the PvP either. I keep trying to like it but the bullshit involved with really low ttk games is too annoying.

Yup, it just really sucks that they force you to pvp in order to get faction gear.

Just like using any other consumable. Use it, then it lasts for 30 minutes and your XP gains for the weapon that corresponds to the telemetry will be boosted.
As someone else said, just grab a void shotgun (I picked a terrible one up at the gunsmith) and play rushdown. However, don't make the same mistake I did and start off in control. Go play Rumble. It's super easy to complete this part of the bounty in free for all.
An aside, I just completed the bounty today and have yet to use Thorn so I have no idea if it was worth it or not.
