If you want to level an Exotic specifically, then make sure everything else you're carrying is fully levelled as XP gains are shared between items that need XP. Handing in five bounties with only your Exotic to level will boost it considerably, for example.

Matchmaking would put a different guy into your group. You have a group of 6 of your friends, and someone gets disconnected, now you have 5 of your friends, and a random. You have a full group, and your friend can't get back in.
 
Just give us the option before starting a Daily, Weekly, Strike or Raid.

Match Making - On / Off

Easy enough.

Mind. Blown. I never knew this is how it works. I just Assumed that every weapon was getting the 5000 XP, not that it was shared. This changes how I turn in bounties greatly...
 
Kinda feels good to have taken a few days off Destiny. I needed to let the daily hooks unset themselves a bit. Now I can log in and play a little bit here and there and not feel obligated, haha.

Does the 25% nightfall bonus apply to weapon levelling as well when turning in bounties?

However, there are a lot of things that we think are easy that they haven't done yet. This would be another thing to add to the list.

Now you're not only asking for MM in raids, but also a new toggle feature. I'm not saying it can't be done, but we all have priorities and this wouldn't be one of mine. I'd rather chat up randoms at the tower and on patrol to get a group together than MM, and see them focus their programming time somewhere else.

Ultimately, they decide what features to focus on.

This....got my first exotic bounty the other day and finished the first leg; but now have to gain 500 points in crucible....after my first 2 matches I had 5/500 points....I do generally stink at PVP so that doesn't help....I don't think I will be finishing that bounty any time soon!!

They don't even tell you that raids and nightfalls don't have matchmaking in game. You can click on them and load in, but the only way you know that you're loading solo into a raid or nightfall is the lack of the matchmaking search counter. It's beyond ridiculous that they don't give people the option or even communicate in the slightest that you have to use third party websites or friend lists exclusively to access portions of the games content.
 
I've gotten 4 packages from crypt and they were all blue, but I don't mind. It's exciting to get purples now. I was worried legendaries wouldn't feel like legendaries after patch, but they still very much do.

I am so fucking tired of trying to fight my refund for my digital version of Destiny (bought physical instead).
They told me twice I can cancel a digital pre-order when I asked, so I went through and tried to process a refund.
The refund then got denied, which today I just found out the reason is because I have trophies in the game. Which of fucking course I do because I told the rep that I am getting to refund so I can play the physical version of the fucking game.
Am I not supposed to play a game I bought just so I can get a refund processed?

Anyway someone should make a 5 things you didn't know about Destiny article. Include this and the Element damage...and 3 other things haha.

I suck at PVP and I got the Invective one. If you play on Control and have a good shotgun, then just camp a point and one/two shot guys that come. If you happen to be a hunter, you can even cloak and hide.

I was in the same boat and had to bail on that bounty. I was getting no where with the 25 k/d crucible portion on the bounty. That was my 1st exotic bounty and haven't had one since.

It's not 25 K/d. They really screwed up that description.

You just need to have 25 more kills than deaths. Also assists count as kills.

I went with Bad JuJu because of the PVP with the others. No way can I get the 25KD as a good game for me is 1:1 and a great game is 1.5:1. Typical is .67:1. The ten thousand points may take awhile to get, but it does not negatively affect my poor skills in PVP.

I would say Thorn is probably the hardest, then Invective, then Juju. With Thorn you basically need to have good Void weapons, which is a crapshot.

Damn fine question. I thought bigger was always better. Like with rate of fire, you would want a higher rate of fire. But with charge, and reload...is smaller faster?

I think the bar shows increase in speed. So bigger would be a faster reload or charge rate...
 
I finally hit rank 3 with the queen, and I'm pretty disappointed with the shader. From looking at the icon, I thought it might be a darker shade, closer to purple, and incorporate some black. Nope, it's the same pink as the rank 2 one, but more parts of your armor are pink now.

She also has more guns available, though still all blue. She has one of every type, all costing 3000 glimmer.

The rep doesn't go beyond 3. It's showing that I'm rank 3, with 0/0 progress.

You shouldn't be holding out for them or any of the rng drops.

Work toward the things you can definitely get from vendors and buying gear from Xur at weekends. You can get to level 29 with only the smallest reliance on rng once you hit 20 and require the blue light gear to get to 24.

My friend was getting hardly any drops and did this, now he's 27 (will be 28-29 when he levels his gear). Wghile he hasn't been as lucky as I have he can start taking on the content that will increase his chances of good drops now (Nightfall and the Raid specifically).

The only real use for getting her to rank 3, imo, is the rare fusion rifle for the Pocket Infinity bounty.
