Damn Destiny HUD has caused some serious image retention on my VT60. C'mon Bungie make that thing transparent.

Yup, same issue here. running the "screen wipe" bar for a few hours helped it, and it will eventually go away, but it's definitely there in the short term. I've taken to randomly adjusting the "screen size" slider each time which doesn't seem to really alter your FOV but moves the HUD in and out of the screen a bit so it's not always at the exact same spot. The pixel orbiter, on the other hand, doesn't seem to help at all.

I'd be on board, but PLEASE read a walkthrough first if you haven't already, because it's very difficult to communicate what to do without visual reference/just on chat.

You can have one or two beginners, but not all beginners. Otherwise it'll take hours to figure it out, before even trying to execute on it.

Anyone Raiding on normal on PS4? I completed it already this week but finally leveled up my second Titan to 29 and looking to double-dip. Level 28's and 29's, preferably.

Raid is priority, but will also party up for weekly nightfall and heroic level 28.

I too would like to know this. Just did the bounty for Thorn yesterday and would like to know if it's worth leveling. Also, is it true that Bungie said it's being buffed later or does that only apply to Bad Juju?

Both guns will be buffed. I have a maxed out Thorn, and really like it.

Thorn Pros:
Damage Over Time (DoT)
Looks cool
Fires green lasers that can pierce enemies (can hit multiple enemies if they are standing in a line)
Great for Crucible trolling (steal kills from teammates if the DoT ticks and takes away the last bit of someone's health, freak out opponents with the DoT)

Thorn Cons (which hopefully get addressed in the future patch):
Low Impact compared to other hand cannons (But the DoT compensates for this)
Slow Reload
Low Ammo Count (6)
DoT is only applied on the first shot; subsequent shots do not stack or refresh the DoT (I think subsequent shots should apply a refresh)

In spite of all the cons, I still enjoy using Thorn and can consistently get good K ratios with it in the Crucible.

Yeah, I started the screen wipe process this morning. Going to leave it going all day, hoping it has an impact.

That's a decent idea, changing the Screen size. I also turned pixel orbiter from auto to On. Thought it already was. >.<

On another note, what's the easiest way to get Legendary weapon? I have legendary and exotic armor, but lacking a weapon of that caliber is really holding me back, just keep leveling up my vanguard for now I guess.

As long as you have one person who can lead and explain and five others capable of listening and learning, there's no need for everyone to read up before hand.

We all went in blind aside from two of us and did just fine. Made it to Ath first time, next night dropped him in 15 minutes.

I feel so bad for PVPers when I get ahold of heavy ammo for my Thunderlord.

Just got Thunderlord yesterday, played a match and OMG.

So powerful and accurate, single shot that baby and a clip will last forever.

It's one of the only weapons that can stop that damn Bladedancer super in Crucible. I love it.

I beat Atheon on Friday and it took us hours because one guy kept either dying or doing something he wasn't supposed to. Because I was the relic holder I couldn't properly explain what the guys on the outside were supposed to do either.

Nearly had a sore throat by the end.

Wow...I am not sure if the game does a poor example of portraying this information or if it is because I am new to MMO type leveling but just realized that I was not actually upgrading any of my armor when it was available because I didn't have the materials to do so.

It would tell me upgrade unlocked, I would hit the button to upgrade and just read what it did thinking I had it. Now that I realize I needed to go farm materials to get the benefits I have gone from a low 24 to almost a 27 this morning.

Mind blown.

It doesn't. You have to wait for the effect to run out before being able to re-apply.

Sounds painful. All my pre planned raid groups have been quite smooth going, but that reminds me many matchmade groups in MMORPGs where we've almost had it so many times but couldn't edge the win because one player would make the same silly mistakes over and over again.

I have lots of respect for people willing to lead random through raid content. Bravest of the brave.
