Bad taste and vanity in Mecca? No way!

I saw that picture for the first time the other day. You usually just see the interior of Mecca from up high, then something like this can change your entire perspective. Makes Mecca look like the cheap add-on to the Vegas strip. Sad.

As to the topic: taking selfies anywhere can be tacky and stupid. But it's pointless to get worked up about it. People have cell phones everywhere now and they're going to do anything and everything with them.
