When will DriveClub PS+ edition is on?

She's playable in Rebirth 1, too. Through DLC. Only $1 and you get the girl for yourself for the whole game. I'd say it's worth to go with the DLC for that price. Note that her name is Plutia. God I love both of her forms.

Some kind of defensive mechanism in my mind suddenly kicked in for no reason, lol.

I love Plutia, I didn't know you could have her in Rebirth 1, this makes me really tempted to get it. Does she have any events?

These things should be set up so that you can order a physical copy of ANY GAME if the dev/pub can get a certain number of pre-orders at a set price that would generate profit.

IE; At 5000 copies, those copies would then be made and shipped out - and you'd be billed at the time they went into manufacturing.

It would all be done either through Sony (if they wanted to make it easier) or the dev/pub with them simply gauging actual interest (pre-order $) before actually printing the games.

I really don't understand how in a world where you can buy a 3D printer and print yourself out most of a car it's impossible to have someone pre-buy a game until they have enough profit to print them and everyone benefits.

This is the 21st century people, evolve your services! =P

If it's all set up through Sony, that would mean Sony would be the ones setting prices for case/disc production as well as the ones responsible for production and fulfillment... which would effectively make them the publishers. Few publishers would go for that.

If it was through publishers, it would potentially require a lot of work and create a lot of issues. Do you take money in advance? If no, then what happens when you reach your number and 50% fall through? If yes, then how long do you keep that money in escrow before refunding (and who pays for the accounting of that?). And how in the world do you time your physical release with your digital release?

A better system, perhaps, would be some sort of 'print on demand' setup where a publisher can send the disc image, cover art, and perhaps a generic fixed page insert and people can order a single copy at a time. This is done in the music and book industry quite a bit, but I'm sure there are all sorts of impossible hurdles in the console industry since while you can write any book you want, or make any cd you want, consoles are protected ecosystems, so it's extremely unlikely.

There's really no easy solution that I can think of. It would be great if publishers did do some sort of 'interest check' to see if it's worth a print run, but ultimately I think a lot of publishers are perfectly happy going purely digital. It's a hell of a lot less work, it's a hell of a lot less risk, and it's a hell of a lot more profitable per sale. Small teams, especially, may simply not have the time, desire, or skill set to put together a physical release of any sort.

By chance anybody know if GameSpot still takes in consoles?

If so for much, estimate of course. Have a Xbox 360 and my wife is headed to the states.

I'm pretty sure you meant "GameStop" and not the the video game news website "Gamespot".

Yes, they still take trade ins for the Xbox 360 last time I remembered and basing off how you didn't mention what model you had (original, S or E) here is the link for their trade in values.

http://www.gamestop.com/trade-values/mobile

EDIT: Based off that link I provided, it looks like if you trade in the "S" model with a 320GB HDD you get $60, lol.

My Vita is ready for Strider 1+2 and Vib Ribbon.

When do PS+ free games go active? 12:00 A.M.?

For US PSN? When Grace Chen feels like it, though 14-16 hours from now is within her 'I feel like it' range for the past few weeks.
EU PSN updates on Wednesday.

inefficient and lacks actual scheduling. everything sounds wonderful on paper but go try it out for yourself and you will quickly realize its not that simple.

Wow SK is the number one item on Amazon, surpassing even Destiny?? Although it shows that our market has changed pretty significantly I am still very impressed/shocked in a good way. I have the JP physical copy so digital it is for me.

As much as I love GuP, doesn't the game have pretty bad feedback?

Controls are not great that is for sure. Played the first map last night and I had fun with it. Of course I love the show so that helps but I enjoyed it. Got it for cheap, couldn't pass it up hehe.

I just finished Killzone Mercenary last night. I was really impressed with the game, it's been so long since I've played an FPS through the story and especially on the Vita.

Is there any replayabilty with it besides going through the missions for the Intel?

I just need my 32gb card to hurry up so I can download Uncharted and some other games now.

Yep. There are different single player mission modes that you could try out (precision, stealth, demolition). Each with their own rules and objectives.Of course, there's also the multiplayer maps. I found the botzone dlc to be quite worth it, since I could never connect to matches after the first week.

You can play through the stages with different objectives iirc, but the replayibility is supposed to come from the multiplayer. I don't think the online community is still alive though.

I'll stick to it, might convince someone that it's worth it, even if they're just a lurker reading.

I wish you best luck. I'm not good at convincing other without getting over emotional and I'm too tired for this shit.

On another note, anyone here plans to get Gundam Breaker 2? Haven't played the first one so I'm wondering how good is its online play.

Im getting it most likely. Never played online, but know a lot of japanese gamers did play with all the vids online.

I might have to try the mission modes, I did the majority of the game stealth on the first play through.

I don't think I could play the multiplayer, the controllers aren't responsive enough for Player vs Player. I would probably end up throwing my Vita out of a window.

Why did I look at the ps tv thread. Bunch of vita bitching. Should have known.

Sadly, many hate the Vita for some reason X(. The priceless part is that they say 'The Vita haz no gamez!" yet they want Vita exclusives to land on PS4. The even better part is how they say the Vita is holding back PS4 versions of game (as the Pre-TGS showed many PS3-Vita/PS4-Vita tittles) :(.

At least this thread loves the Vita and treats it with respect :).

So, I picked up MXGP and Invizimals: The Alliance for Vita today. The latter was £3, so I thought for that price I might as well give it a try. The former was £15 but I traded some stuff in towards it, and I've always wanted to try one of Milestone's Vita efforts so I thought I might as well.

I've got SAO and Soul Sacrifice Delta coming from Play-Asia later in the month too. I've gone well over my budget for Vita games this month, whoops. And next month (in terms of when I get paid) is Freedom Wars and Tales of Hearts R. Whoops!

Wait, I thought SSD is digital only?

Who was that gaffer who said that there will be an expo for SEA in SG this October? My sched is free for the end of this month and I can go there. I just need to ask that guy where's the cheapest rooms near that expo. I've messaged someone in steam but I think he was not that guy.

I want to play bloodborne and other ps4 games there so I can decide whether I'll buy a gaming rig or just buy a laptop as a work / school / play combo machine.

Is this the one you are looking for?

Okay finally started watching Fate/Zero and I'm pretty impressed. Now I am pretty much itching for a Fate game for a Vita. Import or not. Any upcoming Type-Moon game for the Vita? I'd really love it if something like Melty Blood gets released.

If not then I'd settle for the Fate games on the PSP. Are they available on PSN?

Get Fate/Extra, if you want to play a Fate game in english on your Vita. If not, import Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua.

Wilflare is the one.

Alright. Hopefully my meager PSN credit can suffice. I did already finish this though. I still have the UMD. :P

Another question though. Is Fate/Extra CC localized?

Oh and yeah I already imported Realta Nua years ago. Played it multiple times and completed every ending with every death scene. I honestly felt like I read a whole encyclopedia's worth on that game. Final game time is around 120 hours.

Edit: Wait. You mean Realta Nua for the Vita? I can't patch that for English though. ;__;

Bug Aksys since they were the ones who've localized the game.

I've played Fate/Extra and it is a bit grindy but has a interesting battle mechanic. Buy the game and join me for begging Aksys to localize Fate/ Extra CCC.

Protip: Don't start the game with the Caster servant. It's the best servant but it is also the hardest one to level up / master.
Prepare to have your mind blown.
Hope its difficulty won't turn me off the game like 1001 spikes.
