Thank you for this. As someone with crap gear and stuck on level 20 i want to be able to compete better in pvp this week. Need to go get me better weapons

For those interested, if you enter the vault of glass outside of the raid play mode, the cave entrance right next to the first chest (which obviously doesnt spawn either) is blocked off as such:

Additionally, you cant use the under-platform secret passage way through to Templar arena either, because that opening is blocked by a large boulder also.

good post hawkian. i actually have to update that pvp analysis. some things i've noticed about a lot of the maps since then, firebase delphi in particular.

wait WUT! did i just read the servers are going down in a bit.. as in they will be down when i get home from work..

As in there not turning them off at night for each location, just world wide "fuck off"

Man the Vex is so shit in Iron Banner. I don't understand why. Went straight back to Suros. So much for that lol. I even upgraded the thing to 300.

Summary
Most of the changes included in this update will improve the technology that enables players to connect to Destiny. The player experience will remain unchanged, aside from the stability for some users who have encountered issues connecting to servers.

Client fixes
Added more data logging for matchmaking systems
Improved connectivity failure handling to reduce beaver (Kick To Orbit events) KTOs
Improved logging of player disconnections
Internal tools fixes to speed up our release process
Fixes to the roster system to allow us to tune the frequency of roster updates on Xbox One
Fixed a bug that allowed users to quick scope on some weapons

Server Fixes
Security fixes
Server performance improvements
Fixes to reduce the frequency of some KTOs
Better logging to help diagnose connectivity problems
Fixes to some Centipede errors that were exclusive to specific player characters

Lol - I passed on the Suros, but will be taking my Shadow Price.

Can't wait to try the Nightfall again with all of that elemental damage bonuses.

The suros is all I'm seeing might as well. I should have bought a exotic weapon instead of trying to level up sheesh. 90% of the weapons I get killed by are either ice breaker, red death, suros, or a FR.

NP- If you're still at 20, save your marks and concentrate on getting your level up before spending any on Legendary weapons just yet. Hitting rank 3 in Vanguard and/or Crucible has a decent chance of getting you sent a brand new legendary outright, so it's worth holding off.

Right on, if you post an update to those thoughts I'll update the link to hit it instead. The way you described Delphi in that post is pretty much how I feel so I'm curious.

Whelp time for a rest from Destiny. Too much repetition for the moment. I'll settle for level 27 and pop back when I'd done with Shadow of Mordor and Alien Isolation

Played some iron banner as a level 26,. Did not feel much of a difference compared to regular crucible.. Except I have to admit the level 20 and under players can be a bit squishy, although can still get kills. The hunter chest is not that great also.

Any ideas on where I should do the pocket infinity bounty for this weeks nightfall? Got the bounty for 200 kills last week but didn't bother with it since the nightfall had the juggler skull on.

Pretty much any auto rifle with decent impact will do, but you will need to level it to the max to dish out the pain. Pick one you can handle well.

When not using Suros I use Vanquisher and it's great. Downside is small magazine size, but you can counter this because you will be using the 'bottom half of magazine deals additional damage' perk much more often, and you get increased reload speed after kills. You also get your choice of range/accuracy or stability upgrade.

My understanding is that that rifle is currently outclassed by Shadow Price and Grim Citizen III from the vanguard/crucible vendors respectively, but may become more viable as the high-range auto rifles are nerfed across the board. Buy at own risk for now I'd say.

It's difficult to hit rank 3 without capping marks. You may lose marks that way. I would buy a piece of armor at rank 2 for only 65 marks.

Right, I didn't mean to imply one should not be buying chest, gauntlet or boot pieces with their marks, that's what I meant by "concentrate on getting your level up" rather than buying weapons sooner.

I don't know why, but I'm pretty psyched about the Iron Banner. I've really been getting into the Crucible the past few days in comparison to my usually PvE focused ways and Iron Banner is all the more reason to. It feels just slightly different from normal crucible.
