I do wonder if there were technical difficulties or if server congestion made them decide for a small delay to space it out? Frustrating regardless, I'd like to see the PS4 get pushed and if the game happens to be an enjoyable enough racing game, but it's just completely missing.
EDIT: Actually, the most frustrating is the complete silence. It's one thing to say it'll be up later today, got delayed a week, or even just a non-committal "we'll give more details later," but here it's just like it never existed.

They weren't even sure what the PS Plus Edition was. And they obviously never had any interest in this game, it was ridiculed by them the moment it was announced.
At any rate, hopefully this edition shows up soon. Pretty shitty of Sony to overlook this thing they promised fans a long ass time ago.

The full game is available to download, just not the PS+ Edition yet. So digital only buyers are okay.

Sony made a very big deal about Driveclub being free. To not launch it today is tremendously disappointingespecially because it never said the PS+ version would come later.

yea but as someone who owns the game: wait for a free way to play it before taking that dip. I like the game as stated before, however it's a different animal than I imagined prior to release.

You're right. My thinking is the first thing a lot of people would think.
Delay the free Driveclub "just a bit" maybe a day, or later tonight or some shit... to make people buy the regulatar edition first.
I'm not into conspiracy theories but I mean, there is so many people who say "fuck it, i was probably going to buy it anyway" they can get those sales before the people who held out waiting to check it out on psn plus and figured "ehhh...nah, i'll save my 60 bucks."

Again, today is not even over. PSN updates are notoriously random. Hell it isn't even 3pm PST.
I would totally be behind this thread and complaints if it was Wednesday right now....I just think all this is premature.

This is shaping up to be another train wreck of a release. Already decided not to buy the retail. I am gambling on the Plus release, and hope it'll come tomorrow in EU. If not, then fuck this game.
As much as I love the PS4, it seems to be a long wait for something truly special to arrive. The best games of this year are shaping up to be TLoU and GTA V. For next year I can already feel The Order is not going to set the world on fire too.

I'm thinking the exact same thing. And it irks me. If its server issues, then they should at least tweet it. Saying,due to server issues / load we need to delay the ps edition for a few days.

For them to just not even mention it in the blog post is so...overtly covering something up, lol. They obviously know it was the most hyped of the PS+ titles for this month, so it's so funny that they just didn't put it there at all and didn't say a word, like we would forget or something.

Right. Or Velocity 2X, or Spelunky, or Dust, etc... or any of the other games we've all got access to via PS+ within the past month.
Still looking forward to mucking about with DC when the PS+ drops, but the idea of outrage re: a delay of something one wasn't paying for anyway by a day or so is kinda crazy. Disappointment? Sure. Anger? lol wat

They only publish the store update blog post when the update is finished.
I really don't care about the game, but people are paying for the service and were promised the game today. Stop with this entitlement shit.
