I'm more partial to classic style, so I'll prob. get the GB Tetris game.Do you like Classic GB/NES Tetris where the block hits the ground and stops or do you like the new rules about infinite spinning in place and storing pieces?
On the U.S. eShop, 3DS Tetris is like $10 and GB Tetris is the standard GB price ($4?). If you like Tetris a lot, just get both.![]()
Confused hereRIP ZaciSa
Sorry Gulatica
Confused here
Swords and Soldiers 3D is an absolute mess and not worth putting on your system even if it was free. I was pretty excited when it was released and the I played it. It is a blurry, lag fest that runs at about 12fps. Deleted it.
So are we definitely getting Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia this month as well?

Not sure where else to ask, anyone had a good experience with Wii Fit U? I had a balance board already so I got the Fit meter to claim the free* full version of the game, haven't used it much though. I only played it a bit, best I can tell only a few games let you play with gamepad + balance board only? Balance board + TV is a bit of an annoyance, as are wiimotes.
Reposting from Miiverse:
Scuba search is amazing! I can see why people want an Endless Ocean for Wii U!

This parfait is pretty tricky!

I must have misread an earlier post that I thought indicated we'd be getting the rest of the GBA/DS series. No, why would you think that?
DS games haven't even launched on the eShop yet, apart from Brain Age in Japan and Europe.
Aside from Gradius, the only other Konami shmup is Life Force, on both the 3DS & Wii U VC.Zero Mission, whereforart thou?
Is Salamander on the US store yet?

So yes, just Life Force = US name of Salamander.
My apologies if this has already been asked and answered.
Is Pier Solar HD coming to the Wii U soon? I know it's out already on Sony consoles, but I would prefer to get it on the Wii U instead of PS3.
What about Castlevania Judgment?
Yay downloading the bayo2 demo
724.1mb
Smash wii u coming out 11/21? Says download at midnight 11/21 on the eshop.

That's not a Castlevania game.
Bought Blok Drop for 79p. Even if I only get 30 mins out of it, can't really lose at that price. Plus I'm helping the dev. Guacamelee also bought.

I know, I've barely touched Hyrule Warriors. In two weeks! Shantae and Bayonetta 2!
My body is not ready!
You realize I'm not the one who put sand in yourYou realize those are DS games and that there are no regular DS VC games available, right? This is not that hard to figure out really. If they suddenly started DS VC, it would not be with third party games and without a big announcement.
Feels good to be playing my first Wii U game on the telly and stuff.

(It's not the crate sliding one, that's going to take a lot longer)
Is it released? What's the name?
Far from release, sadly. And still in need of a name. Will probably throw that one to GAF a bit later on, I suck at names.
Side note/random question that I've been wondering for a while, Gulatica
Is there any particular rhyme or reason behind the casing that you use for things? I mean, we have:
GulAtiCa
ZaciSa
ZeNfA
Did Nintendo hire you to officially develop Alleyway 2, Robin?

Well, many possible reasons.
1) I'm a little crazy
2) I came up with several of these names as a kid (mainly ZeNfA/ZanFa/ZNA), stuff like ZaciSa (or really ZaCiSa/ZaKiSa) in college. Somehow they just took with me and stayed in my mind. I do the uppercase in certain letters to represent how the word is suppose to be said/emphasize. Oddly GulAtiCa is unrelated to Battlestar Galactica (though may be a subconscious thing, though never seen the show). Came up with that in college too, mainly as an alt whenever my mane username (Bloodix) is taken.
3) Return to reason #1
It's a metroidvania, it's just not an Igarashi game like all the others.
It does lean a little closer to the old formula in a couple different ways--the controls are closer to something you'd find in a 16-bit game, there's less emphasis on gear and stats and the animations/sprites are a lot less elaborate--but a lot of people enjoy it precisely because of those aspects.
It also suffered from being really difficult to see on the OG GBA, but that obviously won't be a problem on Wii U.
(Harmony of Dissonance, next week's game, has the exact opposite problem: IGA used a a lot of garish colours/highlights to make sure the game was easy to play on an OG GBA, but particular sprites/environments look hideous on anything with a backlight.)
Not sure if anyone knew or not yesterday, but several of us indie Wii U devs had a live chat with Indie Corner. Includes me, Armillo dev, Actos Games (our own Ashodin), TreeFall Studios, etc etc.
Nice 2 & half hour chat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8p9x_168fgs

I hate how the EU 3DS usually has uninteresting games on sale...
But I was led to believe that all of the EU sales were amazing...
Grass is always greener, I guess!![]()
